Stop Getting Trapped at the Channel Edges
Retail traders frequently encounter a challenging cycle around channel boundaries. When price pushes toward an upper boundary, premature entries expecting a breakout often result in severe drawdown as price aggressively rotates downward. Conversely, when price drops to a lower boundary, panic-selling often occurs immediately before a sharp upward reversal. Traders regularly get stopped out by volatile wicks that sweep the channel perimeter right before directional rotation begins, leading to hesitation on valid setups due to repeated whipsaws. The core execution issue lies in objectively determining whether a channel edge will hold or fail.
DonchianEdgeBounce was designed to eliminate that uncertainty. It identifies when price reaches the boundary of an established channel and confirms the exact moment an authentic rejection occurs. Rather than speculating on whether the boundary will hold or break, traders receive objective visual validation once the reversal is confirmed. - The indicator automatically projects a protective Stop Loss reference positioned outside the recent structural swing extreme.
