GlodSilver is an MT5 Expert Advisor for XAUUSD/GOLD# on M1, combining impulse-based entries, trend filtering, adaptive grid management, and hybrid basket profit control.
Overview
GlodSilver is designed for traders who want an automated Gold trading system on MetaTrader 5 with structured entries, dynamic position management, and practical basket handling.
The EA looks for a first entry when momentum and engulfing confirmation align. It can optionally use an EMA200 trend filter to avoid trading against the broader direction. After the first trade is opened, the system manages positions using a dynamic ATR-based grid and side-based profit logic.
This product is intended for traders who understand automated trading, floating drawdown, and basket-based trade management. It is not presented as a guaranteed-profit system. As with any Expert Advisor, results depend on broker conditions, account settings, spread, execution quality, and market behavior.
Main Trading Logic
1) First Entry
The first trade on each side is triggered when:

an impulse signal appears,
-
an engulfing confirmation is present,
-
and the trend filter allows the entry when enabled.
To reduce overtrading, the EA limits the first entry to once per M1 candle per side.
2) Trend Filter
GlodSilver can use EMA200 as a directional filter.
This helps the EA avoid entries that conflict with the broader market trend.
3) Dynamic Grid Management
After the first entry, the EA can build and manage positions using a dynamic ATR-based grid.
The grid behavior includes:

reverse adds when price moves against the basket,
-
follow adds when price moves in favor of the basket,
-
step-based lot progression instead of aggressive full martingale behavior.
This approach is designed to make basket management more structured and adaptive to volatility.
4) Profit Closing
The EA uses hybrid closing logic:

if both BUY and SELL sides exist, it can close using combined net profit,
-
otherwise, it can close per side when the target is reached.
Profit target handling is designed to work correctly across standard and Cent/USC account environments.
5) Trailing Logic
GlodSilver includes side-based trailing management using ATR and VWAP logic.
In simple terms, the EA can move protection for the whole side based on the average position and current market movement. Trailing usually begins only after that side is already in positive territory.
6) Manual Control on Chart
The EA includes on-chart manual buttons:
