Live Trade Tracking & Execution Dashboard for MetaTrader 5

1. Overview

Velotrak is a real-time trade tracking and execution dashboard built as a MetaTrader 5 Expert Advisor. It overlays a fully featured panel on any chart, giving you an instant, always-visible view of your daily and lifetime trading performance — without automating any trades unless you explicitly activate the equity manager.

Designed for prop firm traders, funded account holders, and disciplined retail traders who need to monitor risk rules and execute trades from a single interface. Velotrak keeps your key numbers front and center, your risk bars always visible, and your orders just one click away.

3. Panel Guide

Header Bar

The top bar contains the VELOTRAK brand badge with the VELO/TRAK logo, your account name and broker, a live clock updating every second, a green LIVE dot, and a Trade Mode toggle button on the far right to open and close the trade panel.

Metrics Row — Five Columns

AVG P&L

Your average daily P&L including unrealized (floating) profit or loss from all currently open positions. Gives a real-time picture of where the day stands including open risk.

PER TRADE

Average realized P&L per closed trade today. Helps identify if sizing and execution quality are consistent throughout the session.

WINS / LOSSES

Count of winning and losing closed trades with win rate and loss rate percentages displayed below each.

TOTAL TRADES

Total closed trades today. The current unrealized P&L from all open positions is displayed in yellow below this number.

Equity Curve Section

The chart section displays your cumulative P&L curve and includes a button strip on the right side with seven controls:

  • [D] Daily View — Shows today's cumulative P&L from trade to trade. Each closed trade is a colored dot (green = win, red = loss). Trade numbers shown for up to 20 trades. Updates in real time.

  • [W] This Week — Filters the curve to show only trades closed since Monday of the current week. Ideal for weekly prop firm cycle reviews.

  • [M] This Month — Filters the curve to show only trades closed since the 1st of the current month. Perfect for monthly evaluation tracking.

  • [L] Lifetime View — Shows the full account history from the very first trade ever placed. Loads automatically from MT5 deal history. Dots are hidden above 50 trades to keep the line clean.

  • [S] Strategy View — Filters by strategy tag (from trade comment). A slide-out panel lists all strategies with their net P&L.

  • [SYM] Symbol View — Filters by trading symbol. A slide-out panel lists all traded symbols with their net P&L.

  • [CSV] Export — Exports lifetime trade history to CSV and an interactive HTML equity report in one click.

A session filter row (ALL / AS / LN / NY) allows further filtering of any curve view by trading session.

A stats bar below the curve always shows: Trades, Win Rate, Best Trade, Worst Trade, and Net P&L for the selected filter.

Parameters Bar

Displays all configured settings at a glance: Daily Loss Limit, Profit Target, Max Drawdown limit, Consistency percentage, and the calculated dollar cap per trade shown in accent blue.

Daily Loss Limit Bar

Tracks total realized losses plus current unrealized loss against your daily loss limit. The INCL. UNREALIZED badge confirms floating losses are included — matching how most prop firms calculate a daily loss breach.

  • White bar — within safe limits

  • Yellow bar + warning — 50% of limit reached, consider reducing size

  • Red bar + warning — 80% of limit reached, reduce size immediately

Consistency Rule Bar

Tracks your best single closed trade (or highest open unrealized P&L) against the consistency cap. The cap is: Consistency % x Profit Target. For example, 30% x $2,000 = $600 maximum per trade. This prevents a single outsized winner from making the rest of the evaluation irrelevant — a rule enforced by many prop firms.

Max Drawdown Bar

Tracks the largest peak-to-trough drawdown from your highest lifetime equity point. Updates live as open positions move against you. Provides early warning before daily limits are formally breached.

Key Difference — Daily Loss Limit measures total loss from session open. Max Drawdown measures the largest single drop from any lifetime equity peak — even if you are currently profitable. Both can be breached independently.

Snapshot Row

The bottom row shows four running figures: Daily P&L (today's realized), Profit Factor (lifetime), Sharpe Ratio (per trade, lifetime), and Lifetime P&L (full account realized P&L).

Trade Panel

Click the Trade Mode button in the header to open the trade panel on the right side of the main dashboard. The panel contains:

  • Lot Manager — Toggle between Manual lot entry and Auto mode. In Auto mode, position size is calculated from your dollar SL and stop in pips automatically.

  • Stop Loss — Set as a percentage of account balance. The derived dollar amount is shown to the right in real time.

  • Take Profit — Set as an R:R multiple of your SL dollar value. The derived dollar amount is shown to the right.

  • BUY / SELL — Sends a market order at current Ask/Bid with SL and TP calculated and attached automatically.

  • FLATTEN ALL — Closes every open position on the account in one click, with three filling mode fallbacks.

  • Trade Manager — Manual mode uses price-level SL/TP on orders. Auto mode monitors total unrealized P&L and flattens all positions when your equity stop or equity target is hit.

  • VWAP Bias — Displays current market bias (Long/Short/Flat) based on embedded daily VWAP calculation. No external indicator needed.

  • Harami Scanner — Inside bar pattern scanner with multi-timeframe dropdown. Draws high/low range lines and detects breakouts live on the chart.

  • Unrealized P&L Footer — Always-visible footer showing combined open P&L and position count, even when the main panel is collapsed.

Order Decorator Boxes

When order decorators are enabled, floating boxes appear on the right side of the chart at your Entry, TP, and SL price levels for every open position. Each box shows the dollar value and pip distance. An X button on each box allows you to close the position (Entry box) or remove the stop (TP/SL boxes) without opening any other dialog.

5. Frequently Asked Questions

Will this place trades on my account?

Only if you use the Trade Panel and click BUY, SELL, or FLATTEN, or if you activate the Auto Equity Manager. The dashboard itself is display-only and reads account data without sending any trade requests.

What is the difference between Daily Loss Limit and Max Drawdown?

The Daily Loss Limit measures total loss from the start of the session — it accumulates across all trades. The Max Drawdown bar measures the largest single drop from any lifetime equity peak. You could be net profitable for the day but still trigger a max drawdown warning if you had a sharp losing streak earlier.

How does the Lifetime curve load?

When you switch to the [L] Lifetime view, Velotrak calls MT5's HistorySelect() from timestamp 0 through the current time, reads every closing deal, and builds the cumulative curve. The load typically takes under one second.

What do the W and M buttons do?

The [W] button filters the equity curve to show only trades closed since Monday of the current week. The [M] button filters to trades closed since the 1st of the current month. Both pull from full lifetime history so they are accurate as soon as Velotrak loads.

Why is the equity curve empty when I first attach?

If no trades have been closed today, the daily curve shows NO TRADES — AWAITING DATA until the first trade closes. Switch to Lifetime view [L] to see your historical curve immediately, or [W]/[M] to see this week's or this month's history.

How do the Strategy and Symbol filters work?

Velotrak reads the comment field of each closed trade as its strategy tag. When you click [S], a slide-out panel lists every unique comment found in your history, with the net P&L next to each. Click a row to filter the equity curve to that strategy only. The [SYM] button works the same way but filters by trading symbol.

How do I move or resize the panel?

Right-click the chart → Expert Advisors List → select Velotrak → Edit → Inputs tab. Adjust Panel X, Panel Y, Panel Width, and Panel Height. Click OK to apply.

Can I use this on a demo or prop firm sim account?

Yes. Velotrak works identically on demo, sim, and live accounts. Recommended to test on demo first to familiarise yourself with the panel, alert thresholds, and trade execution buttons.

What happens at midnight?

Velotrak auto-resets all daily metrics — trades, equity curve, and P&L bars. Weekly and monthly figures are preserved and continue accumulating across the correct calendar boundaries.

Do I need to keep it on a specific symbol?

No. Velotrak monitors the entire account regardless of which chart it is attached to. Attach it to any symbol on any timeframe. The Auto Equity Manager also fires on all symbols, not just the chart symbol.

6. Support & Updates

Velotrak is actively maintained. Planned future updates include multilingual support, prop firm preset profiles, trailing drawdown mode, session P&L comparison, and additional execution tools.

Hello traders, this trading strategy is based on the the Larry Connors RSI-2 strategy, We begin with a 200 periods EMA to find the direction of the market. This is important because we only trade in the main trend direction. We then look for pull backs using the RSI with a period of 2 to get entry signals. Trades are then exited using the 5 EMA. Lot size should be calculated using 1% of 1 the ATR value and positions can be added as long as the entry criterion is met. TRADING IS RISKY AND I D

ST Cross

Introduction The ST Cross indicator is based on the traditional Moving Average (MA) Cross which uses a fast and slow moving average. Entry signals to buy and sell are given when both moving averages cross. However with the basic strategy there are a lot of false signals. In order to filter the trades we use the 200 (MA) to identify the overall direction of the trend. ST Bearish Engulfing
Curtis Daniel Jr -
In a departure from the conventional approach, traders can leverage the bearish engulfing candlestick pattern as a buy signal for short-term mean reversion trades. Here's how this alternative strategy unfolds: The bearish engulfing pattern, (typically signaling a reversal of bullish momentum) , is interpreted differently in this context. Instead of viewing it as a precursor to further downward movement, we perceive it as an indication of a potential short-term bounce or mean reversion in prices.

ST Engulfing

Engulfing candlestick patterns are   comprised of two bars on a price chart. They are used to indicate a market reversal. The second candlestick will be much larger than the first, so that it completely covers or 'engulfs' the length of the previous bar. By combining this with the ability to look at trend direction this indicator eliminates a lot of false signals that are normally generated if no overall trend is taken into consideration

TWJ Anchored VWAP

1. Overview TWJ Anchored VWAP is a professional-grade MetaTrader 5 indicator that plots the Volume Weighted Average Price anchored to the open of each new trading day. The VWAP resets automatically at the start of every session, giving you a clean, accurate intraday reference price calculated from the true open of each day.   Unlike fixed or manually anchored VWAP tools, TWJ Anchored VWAP requires zero configuration to stay relevant — it handles the daily anchor logic automatically while giving
