EquityLog Expert works as an Expert Advisor (EA) and must be attached to a chart in order to operate. It does not open trades or interfere with your strategies — it simply monitors your account and logs data in the background.

How to install

1. Copy the EA into: MQL5/Experts/

2. Refresh MetaTrader 5.

3. Open any chart (any symbol, any timeframe).

4. Drag EquityLog onto the chart.

5. Enable:

   • Allow Algo Trading

   • Allow DLL imports (optional, only if you use email alerts)

Important

• The EA must run on its own chart tab.

• You can attach it to any FX pair, because it does not depend on the symbol.

• You only need one instance of the EA running — it monitors the entire account.

Why it needs a chart
