Fusion Trend — MetaTrader 5 indicator
Fusion Trend (Alpha Trend) is a trend indicator for MetaTrader 5. It combines ATR with RSI or MFI and a trend-following line to show the current trend direction and to mark trend changes with Buy and Sell arrows. It works on all symbols and timeframes.
How it works
The main Alpha line follows the trend, and the offset line shows its shifted value. The ATR filter adjusts the sensitivity to current volatility. Trend strength is measured with RSI by default, or with MFI when volume data is enabled. An arrow is drawn when a trend change is detected.
Inputs
- Length: period used for the ATR, RSI and MFI calculations
- ATR Multiplier: sensitivity of the line
- Applied Price: Open, High, Low, Close or other price types
- Use Volume Data: use MFI instead of RSI
- Show Signals: show or hide the arrows
Notes
The indicator does not open trades. Like any trend tool, it can give late or false signals in ranging markets, so it is best used together with your own analysis and risk management. Signals based on past data do not guarantee future results.
