It is designed for traders who approach the market as a statistical environment rather than a game of chance. The core premise of this indicator is "Market Memory"—the concept that specific price structures and market contexts tend to produce statistically similar outcomes when they repeat.
This is not a signal generator for passive trading. It is a decision-support system that allows the trader to quantify the probability of future price movements by rigorously analyzing historical data.
The Philosophy
In the Remind.cz methodology, emotions are the trader's greatest adversary. To eliminate emotional bias, one must rely on hard data. This indicator automates the process of "backtesting the present." By instantly comparing the current market structure against thousands of historical candles, it provides an objective, mathematical projection of what has happened in similar situations in the past.
How It Works
The indicator uses a Mean Squared Error (MSQ) algorithm to perform a similarity search. When you define a pattern on the chart (Start/End points), the engine scans the available history to find "nearest neighbors"—historical patterns that mathematically resemble the current price action.
Based on these historical matches, the indicator calculates:
