If a single EA runs dozens of different strategies on one chart, that developer is not an experienced developer! Maybe a vibe coder.
Why? Because when an EA runs multiple strategies, they execute sequentially, not in parallel. This makes it very slow and causes you to miss ticks.
Developers should recommend this to their users!
You should configure a separate setting for each strategy, and load the same EA multiple times across multiple charts, each running its own different settings.
As you may have noticed, this is exactly how I run it — and that's why it works flawlessly even if your VPS is slow! VolumeHedger users have already tested this approach of mine.
Why? Because when an EA runs multiple strategies, they execute sequentially, not in parallel. This makes it very slow and causes you to miss ticks.

After I developed (VolumeHedger/HedgingMartingale) products and released it on the market, some people tried to create similar EAs. They even asked me for help solving their technical issues. However, they overlooked the mathematical formula I use to maximize the profitability ratio.
When opening hedging positions, they prefer to keep the initial positions open so that the balance doesn’t show a loss and so they can open smaller lot sizes if the trend reverses again. However, this approach generates less profit while causing higher drawdown.
I was a Mathematics Olympiad student in high school, so you can trust me on this. 🧠
To get the best results, you should close the positions with a stop-loss and accept the loss. Then, you recover the loss with the next trade.
Since there are no opposing positions open at the same time, you also avoid the prop firm’s hedging restrictions. It also works properly even on netting accounts.
I would recommend that the developers trying to create something similar pay close attention to these points ❤️

A quick note on testing EAs in the Strategy Tester:
Every Tick (Normal) doesn't use real tick data. It generates synthetic ticks from M1 OHLC bars, so the intrabar price path is smooth and predictable, spread is clean, and there's no slippage. For a few-pip scalper this creates unrealistically high win rates.
Every Tick Based on Real Ticks uses actual recorded tick data, with real variable spread and intrabar noise. This is far closer to live conditions.
If a strategy looks great in Normal mode but falls apart on real ticks, the edge isn't in the market — it's in the tick generator's modeling artifacts.
Best practice: test with real ticks + realistic spread and commission, ideally across multiple brokers' tick data and different market regimes. A genuine edge holds up under real ticks.
