Some people are wondering why I make deposits — is it to prevent the account from blowing up? 🔥

Of course not. If an account is going to blow up, adding a deposit will not protect the drawdown.

The reason is simple: brokers don’t have a single wallet where they hold your money. I withdraw profits from other accounts and redistribute them randomly. If one account grows too large, the EA increases exposure via auto-scaling (lot size / position scaling), which I want to avoid. 💎

Following CME-driven margin changes in Gold, historical data and tick structure have changed ⚠️
Therefore, do not rely on old backtests or set files, as the results may be misleading 🤖📉

I’d like to offer a critique and a small suggestion 😬
I had originally decided to share the robots I develop each month completely for free. I wanted everyone to experience the freedom I found—traveling the world with just a backpack. I never had expectations of making a fortune. But unfortunately, this place can sometimes feel like a battlefield. No matter how perfectly you build something, someone will still try to hurt you. Maybe it’s jealousy—I don’t know. But in the end, it harms them as well.
Because of this, I stopped sharing free products. You might remember my other crazy free EA—I removed it immediately. That’s why I decided to release VolumeHedger as a paid product.
My decision to make it paid started after seeing these unfair negative comments. Paid robots usually receive more balanced and fair feedback. At the very least, leave positive reviews for free robots so developers stay motivated and continue improving their work. In the end, everyone benefits from that.

Both **VolumeHedger EA** and **HedgingMartingale EA** have a holiday filter. Trading is disabled by default on **national holidays**. I even disabled trading **one day earlier**, because if a position remains open during a holiday, things can go wrong. That’s why the EA didn’t open any trades this **Monday and Tuesday**.

It also has a before/after feature — you can disable trading for the days following the holidays as well, if you wish.
