Leons Gold Indicator
Leons Gold Indicator is a chart-based analysis tool for MetaTrader 5, intended for manual gold trading analysis. It combines M15 signal conditions, closed H1 trend confirmation, H1 supply and demand zones, reversal markers and a rolling broker tick activity panel. It does not open, modify or close trades.
Signal analysis
The dashboard evaluates EMA 20/50 alignment, price relative to EMA 200, closed H1 EMA 200 confirmation, RSI, a previous-candle break, ATR, ADX and MACD. The first six conditions contribute 12 points each and the final two contribute 14 points each. Outside the configured session windows, the score is reduced by 10 points. Low ATR reduces the score by 20 points and prevents a directional signal below the no-trade threshold.
The stronger directional score is displayed as a 1 to 100 percent strength reading and a 1 to 10 power reading. Low is 1 to 39 percent, Medium is 40 to 69 percent and High is 70 to 100 percent. These values express rule alignment, not win probability or expected profit. Directional signals require power of at least 6. The A+ label requires power of at least 8. Signals are score-based; every individual condition does not have to be true.
M15 signals use closed candles and the most recent H1 candle closed at the signal's closing time. The H1 moving-average overlay can still change on the open H1 bar. The dashboard session label shows the current broker-time session; scoring uses the signal candle's session. Sessions are configurable broker-server hours, without automatic London or New York daylight-saving conversion. The session setting is a score penalty, not an absolute outside-session block.
Price levels
For an active signal the indicator draws the signal close as a reference entry, an ATR-based stop beyond the candle extreme, and targets at 1R and 2R. These are reference prices, not executable quotations or a trade recommendation. The entry is the completed candle close and can differ from the current Bid or Ask.
H1 zones and reversal markers
Demand and supply zones use a two-bar confirmed swing followed by a departure candle whose body covers at least 60 percent of its range and closes beyond the swing candle. Zones start at their confirmation time. The default scan is 200 H1 candles with up to four zones on each side. Zones are removed when a completed H1 candle closes beyond the invalidation boundary.
Aqua and magenta reversal arrows indicate closed M15 candle rejections at confirmed H1 demand and supply. The default qualifying wick occupies at least 45 percent of the candle range and the close returns beyond the zone. These markers are separate from the score-based signals. Zone selection and reconstructed historical markers can change as zones become invalid or move outside the lookback. The product is not advertised as non-repainting.
Broker tick activity
The panel examines a rolling sample of 500 broker ticks by default. Where the broker supplies classified buy and sell deal flags with volume, it shows those classified volumes and unclassified volume. Otherwise, it shows estimated pressure from rising, falling and unchanged Bid ticks. Estimated tick pressure is not traded buy/sell volume, order-book liquidity or global gold-market volume. Availability and units depend on the broker and symbol. Missing tick history is displayed as unavailable rather than invented data.
Setup
Use desktop MetaTrader 5 and your broker's gold symbol, preferably on M15. Load at least 210 M15 and H1 bars. The initial moving-average drawing window covers up to 501 chart candles. M15 signals remain the signal source on other chart timeframes, which can combine several signals into one chart candle. Gold symbols with different digit formats use different point sizes, so the fixed ATR thresholds of 120 and 70 points must be understood in the context of the symbol. No broker, account-number or expiry restrictions are imposed by this source.
Inputs
ShowPanel and BuyColor, SellColor, WaitColor control the dashboard. UseSessionFilter and the four session-hour inputs control the broker-time scoring windows. ShowH1Zones, H1ZoneLookback, MaxZonesPerSide and zone colors control zone display. ShowReversalMarks, ReversalLookback and ReversalWickFraction control reversal annotations. ShowLiveVolume and VolumeTickSample control the broker tick panel. Core signal settings are fixed in this version.
