Proton Account Dashboard MT5
OVERVIEW
Proton Account Dashboard MT5 is a utility for MetaTrader 5 that displays real-time account information on the chart. The dashboard shows key account metrics without requiring navigation to the account settings menu. This tool is designed for traders who want immediate visibility of account status while maintaining focus on price action.
PRIMARY FUNCTION
The utility displays critical account metrics in a dedicated panel attached to the chart. All values update in real-time as trades open, close, or move in price. The dashboard provides a consolidated view of account health, position exposure, and daily performance metrics.
METRICS DISPLAYED
Account Balance:
Shows the current account balance in your account currency. This value changes when trades close or when deposits are made. The value displayed reflects your account status at the time of attachment.
Equity:
Displays account equity, which is calculated as balance plus floating profit/loss. Equity decreases when open positions move against your positions. Equity increases when open positions move in your favor.
Free Margin:
Shows available margin that can be used to open new positions. This value changes as new positions open and as existing positions fluctuate in price. Some brokers calculate this value differently based on leverage and account type.
Floating Profit/Loss:
Displays the combined unrealized profit or loss across all open positions. Positive values indicate overall open positions are profitable. Negative values indicate overall open positions are unprofitable. This value updates with every price tick.
Daily Profit/Loss:
Shows profit or loss from trades that closed today. This metric resets daily at market open time (specific time depends on your broker). Only closed trades are included in this calculation.
Margin Level:
Displays the percentage of margin being used relative to free margin. Calculation is: (Equity / Used Margin) x 100. A margin level of 100% typically indicates a margin call. Professional traders often target maintaining 200% margin level or higher.

Basic Operation:
1. Attach to any active chart
2. View current account metrics on chart
3. Metrics update automatically with price movement
4. Monitor equity and free margin while trading
5. Use daily P&L to track daily performance
Monitoring Account Health:
Check free margin regularly to ensure you have sufficient capital for position changes. If free margin decreases significantly, you may need to reduce position size or close positions.
Monitor margin level to avoid margin calls. Different brokers have different margin requirements. Verify your broker's margin call level before trading.
Track floating profit/loss to understand your current unrealized exposure. This helps determine if positions should be held or closed.
Using Daily P&L Metrics:
Review daily P&L to evaluate trading performance throughout the day. This metric helps assess whether you are meeting daily profit targets or managing daily loss limits.
Understanding Margin Level:
A margin level below 100% triggers a margin call. A margin level between 100-200% indicates tight margin. A margin level above 200% provides comfortable margin buffer.
