MT4 MT5 Trade Bridge Slave is the free MetaTrader 5 Slave utility component for MT4 MT5 Trade Bridge Master. This utility is designed to read trading information from a structured local bridge file created by the MT4 Master component and process the synchronization workflow on the target MetaTrader 5 terminal.
The complete workflow requires the MT4 Master component installed on the source MetaTrader 4 terminal. Without the MT4 Master component, this MT5 Slave utility will not receive trading data and will remain in waiting mode.
This utility is useful for traders who still rely on MT4-based strategies, signals, indicators, or manual trading workflows, while using MetaTrader 5 as the target execution or monitoring terminal.
You can use MT4 and MT5 terminals from different brokers. The bridge works through local file synchronization, so the MT4 Master and MT5 Slave do not have to be from the same broker. Proper symbol mapping may be required when broker symbol names are different.
Important
This product is the free MT5 Slave utility component only. To complete the MT4 to MT5 bridge workflow, you also need the MT4 Master component installed on your MetaTrader 4 terminal.
The MT4 Master component is available separately in the MetaTrader 4 Market as MT4 MT5 Trade Bridge Master.

How It Works
- Attach the MT4 Master component to the source MetaTrader 4 terminal.
- Attach this MT5 Slave utility to the target MetaTrader 5 terminal.
- The MT4 Master component writes trading data into a structured local bridge file.
- This MT5 Slave utility reads the bridge file.
- The MT5 Slave utility processes the synchronization workflow according to the selected settings.
Recommended Use
This product is designed for traders who want to transfer trading activity from MetaTrader 4 to MetaTrader 5, including terminals from different brokers. For best results, both terminals should be installed and running on the same computer or VPS.
If the MT4 and MT5 brokers use different symbol names, proper symbol mapping should be configured in the MT5 Slave utility. For example, if the source symbol is XAUUSD and the target broker uses XAUUSDm, the mapping should be configured before running the bridge.
Typical Use Cases
- Synchronizing manual trading activity from MT4 to MT5
- Using MT4-based signals while monitoring or processing the workflow on MT5
- Connecting MT4 and MT5 terminals from different brokers
- Running MT4 as the source terminal and MT5 as the target terminal on the same VPS
- Synchronizing trade status, Stop Loss, and Take Profit from MT4 to MT5
Important Notes
This product is a bridge utility companion component, not a trading strategy. It does not generate trading signals and does not guarantee profit. Trading results depend on the source trades, the MT4 Master component, MT5 execution conditions, broker execution, spread, commission, slippage, latency, symbol specifications, minimum lot size, stop level, freeze level, and user settings.
Because different brokers may have different symbol names, contract specifications, execution rules, lot limits, stop levels, and spread conditions, the result on MT5 may not always be identical to the source trade on MT4.
For best performance, use a stable VPS, keep both terminals running continuously, and check the symbol mapping and lot settings before using the bridge on a live account.
