Gold does not stay in one regime.
It can spend hours stretching away from a recent balance area and then reverse. At other times, it can leave a well-defined structure and continue with momentum.
That is the problem I wanted to address with Ninja Kagehana XAU: one XAUUSD Expert Advisor built around two different engines, a maximum of one open position, defined Stop Loss and Take Profit, no grid, no martingale, no averaging down, and a public build that is reviewed regularly instead of being presented as a permanent set-and-forget solution.
The current MQL5 release is Version 1.2, listed at 299 USD for MetaTrader 5.

Gold Changes Fast. Two Engines Respond. | Ninja Kagehana XAU MT5 EA
The long-form video shows the product concept, the two engines, the main risk controls, the review cycle, and the checks that should be completed before live use.
Why Build Two Engines for Gold?
Gold can behave very differently from one market phase to another.
A method designed only for fading an extended move may struggle when price breaks structure and continues. A method designed only for breakouts may enter after false moves or during conditions where price is already exhausted.
Ninja Kagehana XAU contains two independent ideas:
- Mean Reversion looks for a confirmed reversal after an overextended move.
- Buffered Breakout looks for momentum continuation after price breaks a recent structure with supporting context.
The EA can use BUY and SELL opportunities from either engine while still allowing only one open position at a time.
Engine 1: Mean Reversion
The Mean Reversion engine is designed for a specific type of situation: price has moved too far, but the EA does not enter simply because the move looks extended.
It waits for a confirmed reversal condition and then looks for a controlled return toward a more balanced price area.
Current public parameters include:
- Entry window: 10:00 <= UTC < 20:00
- Stop Loss: 2.10 ATR
- Take Profit cap: 1.20 ATR
- Maximum holding time: 240 minutes
The role of this engine is not to fight every strong move. It is to look for a confirmed return after overextension under its own conditions.
Engine 2: Buffered Breakout
The Buffered Breakout engine addresses a different market state.
It reviews the recent 48-bar high/low structure together with EMA context, momentum, and H1 direction. Its purpose is to identify a break from structure that is supported by continuing momentum rather than reacting to every small touch beyond a range.
Current public parameters include:
- Entry window: 00:00 <= UTC < 20:00
- Stop Loss: 1.70 ATR
- Take Profit cap: 1.35 ATR
- Maximum holding time: 60 minutes
The Mean Reversion engine looks for a controlled return after exhaustion. The Buffered Breakout engine looks for continuation after structure gives way.
A One-Minute Overview
Gold Changes. Two Engines Respond. | Ninja Kagehana XAU #Shorts
This Short uses a separate script, newly generated Andrew narration, a new vertical structure, and moving NINJA action scenes. It is a quick introduction to the two-engine concept before the full guide.
A Deliberately Simple Position Structure
The EA is intentionally not built around position stacking.
- Maximum one open position
- Stop Loss and Take Profit on every trade
- No grid
- No martingale
- No averaging down
- Maximum lot: 0.05
Available operating choices include Fixed Lot, Balanced, and Profit Attack settings. These are different risk configurations, not promises about future results.
Before an order is sent, the EA checks relevant spread, margin, and broker volume conditions. Broker specifications still matter, so the exact GOLD symbol from the intended broker should be tested rather than assuming that every XAUUSD feed is identical.
The Approximately Two-Week Review Cycle
One of the main differences in Ninja Kagehana XAU is the way the public build is maintained.
Approximately every two weeks, the following areas are reviewed:
- Recent trading performance
- Fresh tick data
- Transaction costs
- Current market conditions
- Broker differences
This does not mean that a new version is released automatically every two weeks.
It is not a license-expiry date. The EA does not stop operating when a review date passes. It does not retrain itself inside MT5, and the review does not promise that future returns will improve.
The public build is reviewed regularly, and a new version is released only when testing supports a meaningful improvement.
If the current public version remains the better verified choice, it is kept instead of changing the version number for cosmetic reasons.
Risk Controls Designed Around Real Operating Conditions
Ninja Kagehana XAU includes several controls intended to reduce exposure during specific conditions. They are part of the EA design, but they should not be confused with a guarantee that loss will stop at an exact number.
Daily Equity-Loss Guard
The default reference is 4% from the UTC day-start equity.
When the condition is reached, the EA attempts to close its own position and blocks new entries for the rest of that UTC day.
H4 Volatility Shock Guard
The EA compares a completed H4 range with the recent average.
- Threshold: 2.40 times the prior average
- Pause: 16 hours
- Trigger source: completed H4 bars, not an unfinished H4 candle
An unusually large completed M5 bar can also block a new entry.
Friday and Weekend Controls
- No new entries after Friday 16:00 UTC
- Scheduled position close at Friday 19:30 UTC
- The design intentionally avoids carrying positions over the weekend
Historical Tick Verification
The current product page includes the following independent historical research:
- Period: 2026.05.29-2026.07.29
- Data: Dukascopy XAUUSD Bid/Ask tick data
- Ticks processed: 15,154,739
- Starting balance: 1,000 USD
- Leverage assumption: 1:100
Balanced 2.0%
- Net profit: +248.43 USD
- Trades: 65
- Win rate: 76.92%
- Profit Factor: 2.215
- Maximum equity drawdown: 3.13%
Profit Attack 2.5%
- Net profit: +355.78 USD
- Trades: 65
- Win rate: 76.92%
- Profit Factor: 2.491
- Maximum equity drawdown: 4.14%
These are historical research results, not untouched forward results.
The full period was used when selecting the current public version. The figures should therefore be read as verification material for the development process, not as independent future data or a forecast of what the next period will produce.
Who May Find This EA Suitable?
Ninja Kagehana XAU may be worth examining for users who:
- Want automated XAUUSD trading on MetaTrader 5
- Prefer two different engines instead of relying on one market idea
- Want a maximum of one open position
- Prefer defined SL and TP on every trade
- Want to avoid grid, martingale, and averaging-down structures
- Value daily, volatility, Friday, and weekend controls
- Prefer a product whose public build is reviewed regularly rather than presented as permanently finished
- Can test the exact broker symbol in Strategy Tester and on a demo account
What to Check Before Buying or Using It
- Confirm the exact XAUUSD or GOLD symbol used by your broker.
- Check contract size, tick value, minimum lot, lot step, spread, commission, leverage, and margin requirements.
- Run the current version in the MT5 Strategy Tester using your broker data.
- Test the selected risk mode on a demo account.
- Confirm the server-to-UTC setting and Friday schedule.
- Review the maximum-lot and maximum-margin settings.
- Confirm that the one-position design matches the way you intend to use the account.
Important Limitations
The 4% Daily Equity-Loss Guard does not ensure that the final daily loss will stop at exactly 4%.
Actual results can be affected by:
- Price gaps
- Slippage
- Connection delay
- Rejected close or entry requests
- Market closure
- Broker restrictions
- Different symbol specifications
- Different spreads, commissions, and liquidity
The approximately two-week review cycle does not mean constant parameter changes, automatic retraining, or a scheduled improvement in profitability.
Historical tests, simulations, and earlier market behavior do not determine future performance. The exact broker symbol should be checked in Strategy Tester and on a demo account before live use.
Two Engines, One Disciplined XAUUSD Framework
Ninja Kagehana XAU is not built around adding more and more positions when the market moves against it.
Its central structure is easier to understand:
- Two engines for two different types of XAUUSD behavior
- BUY and SELL support
- One open position maximum
- Defined SL and TP
- No grid, martingale, or averaging down
- Daily, volatility, Friday, and weekend controls
- A public build reviewed against recent data, costs, conditions, and broker differences
