MelloScanner watches many symbols and timeframes at once and tells you where price has just tested a meaningful level - a supply or demand zone, the edge of a range, or an old reversal level - and how much evidence lines up at that test, as a score from 0 to 9.
The nine factors
1. Price tested a level: an order-block zone after a break of structure, a range edge, or an old reversal level
2. The level has reversed price three times or more
3. The test is inside the 50-78.6% retracement of the last swing
4. The level is near the volume point of control (POC)
5. RSI agrees with the direction
6. Money Flow Index agrees
7. MACD histogram turns or crosses in the direction
8. Divergence at a held level
9. The test is in the direction of the market structure (BOS / CHoCH)
Each test is classified as a hold (rejected the level) or a break (closed through it with a strong candle).
No repaint
Every bar is scored only with what was known on that bar: swings that were already confirmed, the POC and the range of the previous bars, and structure breaks found without looking ahead. A level tested again a few bars later never replaces the earlier signal. In the Strategy Tester the chart signals recorded bar by bar matched the full-history signals one for one on EURUSD H1, XAUUSD M15, GBPUSD D1 and USDJPY M5.
Scanner panel
- Any list of symbols (default 21 majors, crosses, gold and silver) or "MarketWatch" for every symbol in your Market Watch; broker suffixes are found automatically
- Up to five timeframes side by side (default M15, H1, H4)
- Each cell: structure trend arrow, BUY or SELL, score, hold or break and how many bars ago
- Rows sorted by the best recent score; a best-signals list with the reasons behind each score
- Click a cell, a symbol or a best signal to open it on the same chart
- Symbols are scanned a few at a time and only when their timeframe has a new bar, so the terminal stays responsive
On the chart
Arrows with the score for the chart symbol's own signals (minimum score adjustable), with the reasons in the tooltip.
Alerts
Popup, push notification and email when a new signal reaches the score you choose (default 7).
For Expert Advisor developers
Buffer 0 = signal for the chart symbol and timeframe: +score for BUY, -score for SELL, EMPTY_VALUE otherwise. Set on closed bars only (read shift 1).
Notes
- A high score means more evidence at a level, not a prediction; use it to find charts worth a closer look.
- Works with any symbols your broker provides; history for the scanned symbols is loaded automatically the first time.
