AURORA PRIME is not designed for fast profit.
It is designed for survival, stability, and long-term capital preservation.
This system was built under the philosophy that:
“Staying alive in the market is already a win.” - Versione: 1.0
- Attivazioni: 10
MelloTrend is a filter for your own trading decisions. On every closed bar it gives one verdict: BUY side only, SELL side only, or stand aside - based on the trend, the higher-timeframe trend and whether the market is worth trading right now. The trend line itself is coloured with the verdict: green, red or grey.
What the verdict checks
- Trend: an ATR trend line (default ATR 10 x 3.0) that flips only on a close beyond the line
- Higher timeframe: the trend line of the next timeframe up (M15 -> H1, H1 -> H4, H4 -> D1, or one you choose) must point the same way; only higher-timeframe bars that have already closed are used
- Trend strength: ADX(14) above a minimum (default 20)
- Activity: ATR(14) compared with its own 200-bar average, so unusually quiet periods are flagged (default minimum 0.8x)
- Cost: the spread as a percentage of a typical stop (1.5 x ATR); when the spread eats too much of the stop the market is marked closed (default maximum 10%)
Panel
The current verdict and for how many bars it has held, the chart trend, the higher-timeframe trend (and whether it disagrees), market OPEN or CLOSED with the reason, and the live ADX, volatility ratio and spread cost.
How to use it
- Take only trades from your own method that match the verdict, and stay out when it says stand aside
- Use it on the timeframe you trade; it works on any symbol
- Alerts (popup, push, email) when the verdict changes
Optional entry signals
New-trend and pullback-to-EMA signals can be switched on. When they are on, the panel shows statistics of the past signals on your own chart, with the spread included: how often 1R and 2R were reached before the stop, the average result, and the same for the signals the market-condition gate blocked. The statistics show past behaviour on your chart; they are there so you can judge the signals yourself.
No repaint
Everything is calculated on closed bars. In the Strategy Tester the verdict recorded bar by bar matched the full-history values on every one of 9,019 bars checked, and the optional signals matched one for one.
For Expert Advisor developers
Buffer 0 = trend line, buffer 2 / 3 = buy / sell signal price (when signals are on), buffer 4 = trend (+1 / -1), buffer 5 = market open (1 / 0), buffer 6 = verdict (+1 buy side, -1 sell side, 0 stand aside). Read closed bars (shift 1). When passing inputs with iCustom, every "input group" header counts as one parameter.
Notes
- MelloTrend is a context filter; it does not predict prices and does not guarantee any result.
