È fondamentale che il consulente lavori nell'intervallo di tempo corretto, quindi prima di iniziare il testing è necessario impostare correttamente il parametro GMT.

Come impostare correttamente il parametro GMT?

La configurazione deve essere effettuata quando il mercato è aperto e ci sono scambi in corso nel terminale di trading.
Apri Google e scrivi "Ora GMT ora", quindi apri il primo sito web che appare e prendi nota dell'ora (supponiamo sia 10:53).
Apri il tuo terminale di trading su cui testerai e utilizzerai il consulente. Apri la finestra dei dati (chiamata "Market watch" in inglese) e nella parte superiore di questa finestra vedrai l'ora del server di trading del tuo broker (supponiamo sia 12:53).
Sottrai l'ora del tuo broker dall'ora di Greenwich e otterrai il parametro da impostare nel consulente (Esempio: 12-10=2, quindi impostiamo +2 nel consulente).

Il consulente può negoziare sia secondo l'algoritmo classico con SL fisso e TP, sia secondo la strategia di media, che dà un profitto stabile su una lunga distanza.
