Mitigation Blocks — Where Smart Money Refines Entries
A mitigation block is a level where price returns to an old order block to fill remaining institutional orders before continuing the move. It’s not a random retracement — it’s the market completing unfinished business.
After a strong move, institutions often leave partial positions behind. When price comes back, it allows them to refine entries at better prices. This is why mitigation zones often act as powerful reaction points.
Instead of seeing pullbacks as weakness, understand them as precision entries for smart money.

Daily Bias — Your Direction First
Before taking any trade, you need one thing clear: direction. Daily bias tells you whether the market is more likely to move up or down based on higher timeframe structure, liquidity, and recent price behavior.
Most traders lose because they trade against the bigger picture. When you align with daily bias, you stop fighting the market and start flowing with it. Every entry becomes easier because you’re trading in sync with the dominant move.
No bias = random trades.

I remember increasing my lot size after a good week. Nothing crazy, just a bit bigger. I told myself, “Same setup, same rules… just more profit.” First trade lost. It didn’t hurt much, but I felt it. Second trade… I hesitated. Third trade… I closed early. Suddenly I wasn’t trading the market anymore — I was reacting to the money.
That’s when it clicked. My strategy didn’t fail — my psychology did. The size changed everything. I was no longer calm, no longer patient. Since then, I only increase size when my reactions stay the same. If a loss makes me uncomfortable or a win makes me greedy, I’m trading too big. Simple rule: if you can’t think clearly, you’re oversized.
That’s when it clicked. My strategy didn’t fail — my psychology did. The size changed everything. I was no longer calm, no longer patient. Fair Value Gap (FVG) — The Imbalance Zone
