OVERVIEW
VORTEX v1.0 is a fully automated Expert Advisor, specifically developed for trading the XAUUSD (Gold/US Dollar) pair. It combines institutional-level structural analysis with momentum divergence detection, filtering each signal through a double-confirmation engine based on CCI and MACD to ensure that only high-probability trades are executed.
MAIN STRATEGY
VORTEX identifies trading opportunities by converging three independent layers of analysis:
1. Structural Zones: Support and Resistance Levels, Smart Money Order Blocks (SMC), and Williams Fractals are mapped in real time. Entries are only considered when the price interacts with a validated zone, offering setups with defined risk and minimal drawdown exposure.
2. Momentum Divergence Engine: The system continuously scans for RSI and MACD divergences against price swings, detecting the exhaustion of trending moves before a reversal materializes. This allows VORTEX to enter early on the new momentum instead of chasing the move.
3. Dual Filter Confirmation: Every signal, regardless of its origin, must pass both the CCI momentum filter and the MACD trend filter before being executed. This double validation significantly reduces false entries during sideways or low-liquidity market conditions.
RISK MANAGEMENT
VORTEX includes a comprehensive, institutional-grade risk management system:
Dynamic lot sizing based on account balance or equity (% risk per trade)
ATR-based Stop Loss and Take Profit orders that automatically adjust to current market volatility
Trailing Stop to protect open profits as the trade progresses
Break-Even activation to eliminate risk once a defined profit threshold is reached
Daily loss limit that stops trading if the maximum drawdown for the session is reached
Margin and free margin controls to prevent excessive leverage under any circumstances
