MT5 shows tests on real ticks. If everything is bad on the test, it saves your money from being lost in real life. This is not a bad tester, this is an honest test. Understand the concepts of “optimization” and “backtest”. Without understanding the settings, launching a robot is a lottery, not trading. An advisor is a tool, not a “typewriter”. Standard settings (default) are often given as an example. The market is changing: gold volatility is different in 2023 and 2025. Without optimizing parameters for the current market, any robot will sooner or later fail. Unlike MT4, MT5 supports real ticks with spread history.
