Passband Filter Pro
Passband Filter Pro is a trend and cycle oscillator for MetaTrader 4. It is built on the Ehlers Super Passband Filter, a band pass filter that removes long term trend drift and short term noise so that only the dominant market cycle remains. The result is a clean oscillator with a color cloud that shows overbought and oversold conditions, cycle turns, and momentum on forex, gold, indices, stocks and crypto.
Most traders enter too early or too late. Simple moving averages lag, and standard oscillators give many false readings in noisy markets. It is hard to see when a move is stretched and a pullback or reversal is likely. Traders need a calmer way to read the market cycle and to time buy and sell decisions without staring at every candle.
What The Indicator Does
Passband Filter Pro isolates the market cycle and plots it as a smooth line inside two adaptive bands. The bands scale automatically with volatility, so the same settings work across different symbols and timeframes without constant adjustment. A warm color cloud marks the up phase when the filter is above the upper band, and a cool color cloud marks the down phase when the filter is below the lower band. The filter values on closed bars do not repaint, which makes the history reliable for study and review.

How To Use
Read the oscillator together with market structure. A cool cloud below the lower band shows an oversold cycle, and when the filter line turns up out of that cloud it points to a possible long entry. A warm cloud above the upper band shows an overbought cycle, and when the filter line turns down out of that cloud it points to a possible short entry. For a trend aligned method, take long setups when price is trading above your trend reference and short setups when price is below it. Many traders combine Passband Filter Pro with a moving average, support and resistance, or price action for confirmation.
