    When Zapscalper does not trade

    The panel and logs show the reason:

    • Alligator asleep (consolidation)
    • 200 EMA on the wrong side of the Alligator
    • Oversized breakout candle (pullback entries only)
    • A trade is already open
    • Spike cooldown still running
    • Spread wider than your limit
    • Not enough free margin
    • Buys or sells disabled
    • Setup cancelled by a close back through the Jaw

    Recommended setup

    • Symbols: Gold (XAUUSD) and major FX pairs.
    • Timeframe: m3 works best. It trades on closed candles for pullbacks and on live ticks for spikes.
    • Account: any MT5 account.
    • Lot size: start at 0.01 or a low risk percentage, and test on demo first.
    • Testing: the Strategy Tester must use “Every tick” or “Every tick based on real ticks” for the spike feature to work properly.

    Important notes

    • Trading carries risk. Past results do not guarantee future results.
    • Zapscalper reacts to price movement and does not read a news calendar.
    • Entering after a fast move can mean wider spreads and slippage. Set a max spread suited to your broker.
    • Zapscalper uses no martingale and no grid. The reversal order uses the same volume on hedging accounts.
