Unfortunately yes - that type of backtesting is worthless ... for indicators (just check it in metatrader 5 and you shall see) Instead of taking good things from both (mt4 and mt5) and merging that in something usable, they are taking what is worse from both and then they will try to force us to use that. That is a shortcut to wherever they are heading, but not to wherever they think they are heading

Fileopenhistory limit now is clear why they did that. They thinking about store. They don't want people sell scam EA. But the truth is almost people don't use MT4 for earn money selling things. They use it for earn money trading!!!

I want they implement template classes. It's nightmare simulate it now. Not clean way and you have.much redundant code.

I am not much familiar with template coding, and it is a complete disaster for me when I receive a runtime error from that part of MQL4 code.
What I am missing most in the syntax are JAVA-style interfaces.
