Hi,

I'm quite a newbie to MT4 and EA, very interested in Mr.Nims'Renko system.

I've downloaded and set the EA as instructed in the PDFmanual.

But the problem is that automatic trading doesn't work.

I've done all steps in the manual and even uninstall and reinstall the MT4 and try with many brokers.But it still doesn't work.

The charts seem to look normal and there's price movement but no trading.

Can somebody help me please?

There is no automatic trading, the EA is only to show you renko chart. You have to trade manually.

Could people share what stops and take profit levels they are using for both EU and GU?

For Eu would 20 pip TP with 30pip Stops be fine? or 10pips TP with 20pip stops?

GU 20pip TP with 30pip stop?

Also is it better to take 10 pips on EU compared with 20pips? I feel like if i just take 10pips with a 30pip stop on EU i might be really screwing with my R:R ratio.

Thanks if some people can share their Tp's/Stops for both these pairs as this is all I need now to start trading successfully. Cheers

Please dont follow my trades though, i make roughly 30-100 trades a day to scalp pips.

Mr. Nims,

you gained 50% within a few days but lost all the gains the other day.

Is this part of your strategy or why did you allow such a big drawdown that day ?

every MT4 come with a sample Expert Advisor

everybody try it, but no one will use it to replace their finger dance -- as it is an illustrative dig on how to copy homework - and Technical or NEWS smarties will only copy the RIGHT logical answer, otherwise a toddler can go to your class (your grade)

therefore, "copying homework" -- but we must use this forum for technical analysis -- lot of its , in this forum, some even help you to hon your skill -- with their daily prediction

I was selling against CHF that day because of the swiss retail sales news came out bad, was expecting CHF to weak ... but it didnt .

forget about it now. Alpari disabled all my demo accounts.

I have to run a demo now on another broker. Maybe fxpro.

Finally a blog for the renko and for my trading stuff. Its going to be a commitment to keep updating this place, but i think it will help me as well as help you with understanding renko and understanding how i work. Maybe you could help me be a better trader? who knows..

Mr, Nims - Renko Ashi Trading System 2

i just zipped the whole folder, user no need to copy paste indicator/ea anymore.

after download complete system here, [code]replace with triple w dot bit.ly/bpvVsA

unzip the folder, you should see "renko_sys_with_mt4" folder,

double click inside, you should see "fxpro_mt4_preloaded_renko", copy this folder and paste on ur desktop, after that rename to "fxpro_mt4"

to open mt4, go inside the "fxpro_mt4" look for terminal.exe, double click that should open your mt4

just create demo account, read through the manual and load the chart/template. starts trading right away! latest template is renko_ashi_v2_1

 

Price Pattern on Renko chart?

Hi everyone,

I am a newbie in FX and this forum, i found this thread is very helpful. With Renko chart we can see pure price action, but does anyone try to apply price pattern on it? Does it work? here is the butterfly on GBPUSD and seems works well, but it is only one. If anyone tried it please share your experiment

I think price pattern is working well on Renko chart, I got 70pips easily on Eur/Usd after bearish butterfly shaped at 17:45.

Anyone have tried on this idea?
