Try out this one

It has all the points except the 2 (GMT) I skipped that point for a couple of reasons - for example : it is impossible to check 4 hour time frame bars against GMT time shift that is not a multiplier of 4. The rest is done :
- you can chose the target time frame

- you can choose for how long (as in number of target time frame bars) the "box" should extend on current chart

- you can choose the open/close or high/low (default) prices for upper and lower bounds

- you get the values preserved when the time frame is changed

- you can get alerts for a price break outs (out of the box up and down) Also, you can choose which price do you wish to monitor for breakouts. Alerts are trigered only if the bar that you are monitoring (current or previous) is within the box boundaries (start time, end time). Once the bar is out of the boundaries, it will not alert any more until it goes in boundaries again

___________________________

Just one explanation : TargetTimeFrameBarNo1 means the first bar of the day (I did not use 0 for that purpose, but 1 is first, 2 is second, and so on, not the metatrader convention where 0 would be first, 1 would be second and so on)

Boxes are extended to the right if it is needed (so you can see the projection too - something like this : it is a H4 target time frame, second bar high/low, extended 5 bars

Does anyone know if there is a decent version of trendlord worth using, or is it just another version of solar wind?

It depends which version of "trendlord" indicator you are using what are you getting. There are 2 versions that I know of : one is a simple ema(20) slope and the other is a variation on a hull moving average theme, where, if you use the divisor of 1, it is in fact lwma(square root of a period) of a lwma(period) (if you use divisor 2 it is a classical hull moving average)

Even though the second idea is somewhat interesting, both are having coding errors that came from an assumption that histogram should treat previous point the same as some attempts that were made to make non repainting multi color line indicators, while that is not truth at all (histogram goes straight forward in order not to repaint, there is no "trick" or something extra that is needed to be done in histogram).

Anyway, as I said, since it is somewhat interesting idea, here is that variation on a hull moving average theme made non repainting (use divisor 1 (which is default in this version) to replicate "trendlord" indicator, or use divisor 2 to have a classical hull moving average slopes) Here is a comparison with the "trendlord" indicator and already you can see where "trendlord" repainted(it also adds one extra red bar at the beginning of each "red block" for the same coding error reason)

Here you go

Option added to choose what kind of alerts would you like - alertsOnColorChange: if you set it to true, it will alert when the color (trend) changes. If you set it to false, it will alert whenever the value changes from flat (horizontal) to up or down
regards Mladen

thank you mladen! i was wondering if there was a way to make an alert when supertrend goes flat as well? or does it already give that particular alert too.

Try this one out

It is a multiple time frame one with interpolations. I was trying to make it from description by Dean Malone, but I must admit that the description is somewhat "not logical". Here is a quote (attached the document itself since it can be found freely on the net)
Marked in red parts that have no sense at all. If one would apply what Dean Malone wrote, then the resulting indicator would be anything but what we see on his pictures (they are 100% incompatible) So, I guess that it is assumed that instead of "Close" it should write "Rsi". Even though this method had some other names before the "Traders Dynamic index" (one was "Dynamic zone Rsi" - which has nothing to do with Stendhals dynamic zones, but is a Bollinger bands applied to Rsi) since the entries and exits are described in detail in the attached document, let see the possible usability of the method itself

Mladen, can you add red/blue dots and alerts on light blue/red line crossing?

As always, thank you in advance for your hard work.

Hama T3 new - mtf& alert

Hi Mladen,

Could you please convert "HAMA T3 new - mtf & alert" in histo ver?

I had already sent you a private message regarding some other query as I thought that might be considered as a weird concept. Since I have no knowledge about any kind of programming, I have no choice, but to ask and disturb the expert. I hope you will look into it and reply.

Thanks in advance.
