I looked at MrTools' statement (10 pt 3 from 8-11_report.htm) and as I see - it is in points (or 5 digit pips).
Same as I am uploading in pips. Means: 500 (5 digit) pips = 50 pips (4 digit).
Example:
he did for GBPUSD: 160 pips (1600 in his statement).
His results are really good especially as we know - it is martingale. And if this EA is profitable in pips so it means: it is profitable in fixed lot size without martingale. because profit in pips does not depend on any lot size.
So, he wanted to say by this statement that timeframe M30 may be less risky than timeframe M1.

As to my trading so as I see - just for this week only (21 of august till now):
AUDJPY:
4 digit pips: 344
dollars: 74
EURCHF:
4 digit pips: 503
dollars: 170
EURJPY:
4 digit pips: -110
dollars: 69
EURUSD:
4 digit pips: 335
dollars: 171
USDCHF:
4 digit pips: 159
dollars: 68
USDJPY:
4 digit pips: 0
dollars: 0
So, it is 1231 pips (4 digit pips) just for 2 and half days.
or 552 dollars.
It is for M1 timeframe.
Drawdown was small for this week.
Of course, this EA will be less risky to use in case of M30 timeframe (as MrTools suggested), and it will be less risky too for H1 timeframe.

Hi there I saw your result and have done some researching by my self and all seams to be positive with profit factor at some pairs with +2. So my question is - is there a formula which to calculate your starting balance? I will start with only one pair - EUR/USR to low up a bit the margin. Regards!

Starting balance?
It is personal riask understanding.
My personal risk understanding is 1 trade with lot size = 0.1 per 1,000 dollars.
That nis why i am posting v isual charts here - just to know max lot size, and real floating drawdown on open trades.
Can this EA work with the Range Bars chart?

That's why I am asking if this EA can worn on this basis. For instance, MACD works smoother as does MA.[/lang]

Platform: FXCM mt4
Initial balance: 30000
Period: 2007 to 2011
Only trade long
on three computers with opposite results (See details attached).
Why?

Hi forexjim,
Some indicators are having different values on different brokers. And many EAs are shwing different results for different brokers. Especially for M1 timeframe where datafeed is not stable. So, use my pre-set, or use more higher timeframe. And especially during the backtesting.
Example in your backtesting:
Bars in test 1235665
Ticks modelled 36801642
and
Bars in test 1303099
Ticks modelled 32055899

Please look at the two graphs below:
From the winning computer, positions close with a total profit; from the losing computer, positions close only with the last position winning a little, the rest all losing.
Yet the difference was not from EA, indicators or setting as they were identical. Where is the cause of difference from?
