just a general question

for you more experianced traders: generally speaking, would you consider the 4h trend as much more influent than the smaller time frame trends?

one of the seniors here said that no matter which ea he uses, he never will dream going against the 4h trend.

any answer will be appreciated.

Control MT4 with key strokes or MQL

Hi !

Is it possible to open a currency pair chart with combination of key strokes without mouse operation ?

Or is it possible by using MQL script ?

And how ?

Newdigital, Thanks for the pointers, but the hotkey list does not contain how to open a currency pair window with key strokes.

Anybody knows how to do this ?

Just for information.

I started to test this EA (attached) for 11 pairs in one Metatrader few weeks ago.

0.01 lot size.

As to me so I am testing exact attached version with default settings for all 11 pairs.

 

No. I use same magic number. I asked davidke20 and he said that this EA was coded to use same magic numebr with no problem.

Why I am testing 10p3v0.03? Becuse it is good example of martingale EA with safe settings. I am using authors settings. I just chnaged timefilter settings to be more safe.

What is the problem with this EA?

I am testing semi-automatic method as well:

Why I am testing semi-automatic method?

Because I need 5,000 or 10,000 to trade by 0.1 lot size and it is more profitable. And MACD alert indicator is giving me alert about possible buy o possible sell about 40 minutes before EA will open the order. As I can not look at the chart att day an night (i am moderating the forum and replying and so on) so it is very comfortable for me.

Besides, Iam using few indicators as technical analysis to make decision.

And in this way (semi-automatic one) no one mechanical system is managing me and my money. In this semi-automatic way I will manage myself and my money.

By the way, Brainwashing EAs was the first one to trade with semi-automatic method (i did it about 1 and half year ago on real account) and it is very simple system.

Then I traded Scalp_net on M1 in semi-automatic way.
