Please refer to the first post. There are descriptions of different systems with different templates.
On the screen shot I did not use any template. I just used the original indicators. And I told you what settings I use. This is not a system those are the settings I use.
I have found that for 30 m and 1 h chart the best results come with risk 8, 9, 10.
This is for swing trading.

But you can use PriceChannel_Signal_v1.2 indicator from this post https://www.mql5.com/en/forum/173249/page62 because this indicator with Length = 9 is looking exact the same as Asctrend. Besides, this PriceChannel_Signal_v1.2 indicator is having 2 kinds of alert (as a warning on open bar once and normal one on closed bar).does not repaint.
I am using this indicator up to now for few systems with charts opened in Metatrader.

Please have a look at the first page. There are all the indicators, EA, tutorials etc. This thread is exemplary for the completeness and the quality of its documentation.
On the first page you can download a tutorial wherein all the systems are explained.
In fact several systems were created for the different time frames. 1m., 5m., 15m., 30m. etc. and every system is different.
Look at he question asked in the beginning of this page.

ND, I have spent the last two weeks reviewing your forum, and I am very impressed and thankfull for all your great work, I have tested some EA whitout any exceptional results on the 1 day and 4 hours time frame, but I think that if some simple exit strategies and money management rules are added the performance can be substantialy improved. (Just a thougth).
I have also been trading the 1 m system with great results on a live account. Thanks again.

Here is my problem:
Sometimes I have a delay when I send orders.
That happens because cpu-usage is at 100% and everything is like frozen.
That is because with every new tick every indicator is calculated from the start of its history.
1.How can I reduce the history to a period that makes sence
(my eurusd 1-min chart begins April 2010) ?
5 days would be enough....
2.How do I have to change the code in order to calculate an indicator only once per bar (take the close of bar[1] only on the open of the new bar and avoid signals that disappear once a new bar starts and therefore prevent repainting)?
If you know any examples of indicators that have this calculate only once function please tell me...

If you have a weak computer or anyway, use for analysis another demo and keep clean as much as possible your MT4 install for trading.
I am not a specialist this is just my 50 cents.
Anyway do not forget all the SSA mods here are only for analysis. Do not count on them too much because by design they repaint. You need to use SSA end - pointed version. By the way it is not ready that, eventually I would post that on digital ASCTrend because it is necessary to keep this thread clean and relevant only to the initial original TSD ASCTrend systems.
