I can not make a recap now. I do not know if today is a bad day for CatFX50. I, myself, shorted cable and made 35 pips. But you are right:
when we are lost, the best system is not trade or widen the time frame.
And remember, Reemul99, we not need to trade every single day. If we do not feel confident, if we see a lot of spikes the best thing to do is take a day off.

15:00 cet: Level 3 long @1.2422, made a high @1.2469 (>19:00 cet) => +47 pips max. fav. excursion (ex spread)
GBPUSD:
08:00 cet: Level 2 short @1.7867, made a low @1.7800 (>14:30 cet) => +67 pips max. fav. excursion (ex spread)
more secure entry would have been @1.7856 one hour later (9:00 cet) after price overstep ema120.17:00 cet: Level 1 long @1.7871, made a high @1.7907 (>18:00 cet) => +36 pips max. fav. excursion (ex spread)
USDCHF:

Again and according to Mibl recap, CatFX50 gave pips in this agly day.
It was a difficult day indeed, but these days are and will be always here.
On EURUSD we are stuck between 1.2260 and 1.2440. One of them will break and if it is no a trap when they do it, it will take us to 1.2594 or to 1.2011.
Once at 1.2594 or at 1.2011, if it is the case, we'll talk.
I know that elliotists, snake oil sellers, gurus and funny people making esoteric charts predict EURUSD down, down to hell, almost at 1.0000.
Well, it's up to you to believe them. It's a matter of faith and it is your money.
