About a month ago I was asked to create an algorithm based on the already proven logic of SGHextreme.
Today, a new trading system, Big Gold Hunter, became available to us.
Yes, we don't use Martingale or Grid trading. There's no artificial intelligence or fancy buzzwords involved. It's a simple and fast algorithm built on clear logic. Each trade has a fixed SL+TP, and trades are accompanied by a profit and expiration time. Built-in protection against large slippage allows you to adapt to the market and adjust the SL if slippage exceeds 50 pips.
This is not a typical breakout trading system as many might think.
As we have often noticed, the market has been trading poorly with breakout markets lately and often rolls back to the level.
This happens due to a large number of order accumulations at the breakout point.
This also strongly attracts the price, since there are large volumes there and the market maker clearly sees the set SLs.
Therefore, Big Gold Hunter does not target these levels; on the contrary, he expects the price to approach them.
The idea is to just let the market reach that level, but we don't necessarily need to break it.
In this way, we open a position even before the market reaches a resistance or support point.
This happens quite often, because at these levels there are very large volumes and the market maker needs to get there.
This will allow us to significantly reduce slippage, since we do not enter the market at the very peak, as most trading systems do for breakouts.
We enter the market early and even if a strong breakout occurs, we can make even more profit.
Full TP is 3000 points, fixed SL level is only 300 points.
The system perfectly senses any slippage and adapts to it in real time.
The core algorithm was built and inspired by the time-tested SGHextreme system.
This allows you not to worry about reliability and choice of levels.
Yes, we trade differently and we have slightly different entry points, more profitable ones.
We also use a market volatility filter and a major news filter.
We do not enter the market on the strongest news from the FOMC, NonFarm, etc. This is all optional.
We also evaluate real market volumes to calculate resistance and support levels more accurately, all in real time.
The algorithm allows you to optionally add 1 additional super trade during a drawdown to catch a pullback in the market; this has virtually no effect on the overall drawdown.
This is all optional and you have full control over all parameters to find your own settings and optimize.
