Aurion is an automated gold (XAUUSD) robot built on a multi-level trading engine. It opens a first trade only when market structure, trend, momentum, volatility, liquidity and session timing line up. If price moves against it, it can add further levels, but only when its technical conditions confirm again, and closes them together as one basket.

How Multi-Level Trading Works
With the default settings, a buy basket works like this (a sell basket is the mirror image):
- The gap between levels is at least the Re-Entry Gap (150 points ≈ $1.50), plus new technical confirmation.
- Each level can be larger than the one before (lot multipliers).
- All open levels close together in profit, followed by a 120-minute cooldown.
- Max Drawdown % is the hard limit if price keeps going the wrong way.
Lot size per level, default settings, 0.01 start (Second Tier Multiplier 1.0, Subsequent Tier Multiplier 2.0, maximum 8 levels):

With all 8 levels open, the basket holds 1.28 lots, 128× the first trade. Each further $1 gold move then changes floating P&L by about $128. Most baskets close at L1–L3; deep levels are the rare case, but plan for them.
Aurion is not a traditional martingale, but it does add larger positions when price moves against the first trade.
Size the account for the worst case, not the average one. Gold can move tens of dollars in a single session. Your real protection is the combination of starting lot, Maximum Number of Trade Levels and Max Drawdown %. Fewer levels or a lower starting lot means less exposure; a lower Max Drawdown % means a bad basket is closed sooner, at a smaller, realised loss.
Installation
- In MetaTrader, click File › Open Data Folder.
- Open the MQL4 folder (on MT5: MQL5), then Experts.
- Paste the Aurion file (.ex4 or .ex5) into Experts. If you received a .zip, extract it first.
- In the Navigator (Ctrl+N), right-click Expert Advisors › Refresh.
- Open Tools › Options (Ctrl+O) › Expert Advisors. Tick Allow automated trading and Allow WebRequest for listed URL, then add https : // xaubot . com (remove spaces).
- Open one XAUUSD chart on M15 (your broker may call it GOLD, XAUUSD.r, XAUUSDm, XAUUSD+ or XAUUSD.raw).
- Double-click Aurion in the Navigator. In the Common tab, tick Allow live trading.
Bought on the MQL5 Market? Log in under Tools › Options › Community, open Terminal › Market › Purchased, click Install, then continue from step 6.
The #1 cause of license problems: if the URL is missing or mistyped (http instead of https, an extra space, a slash at the end), the robot cannot verify your key and will not trade.
Only one gold chart. Never attach Aurion to two charts, and never run it on two terminals for the same account.
License Activation
Aurion only trades on account numbers registered to your license. After purchase, open a private chat with XAUBOT on MQL5 and send your broker, platform (MT4 / MT5), account number(s) and account type (live / demo). Paste the key into Input Your License Key on the Inputs tab, with no spaces before or after. Click Save to store a .set file for next time.

Total lots if every level opens, from a 0.01 first trade: 8 levels = 1.28 lots, 6 levels = 0.32 lots, 5 levels = 0.16 lots. Double the first lot and every number doubles.
Starter profile for calm first weeks: license key pasted, Risk Level Low Risk, lot 0.01 per $1,000–1,500, Max Drawdown % set to a loss you accept, News Filter true (USD), everything else default. Change settings only when no basket is open.
Going Live and the Dashboard
Click OK and check that the AutoTrading button is green and a smiling face shows in the chart's top-right corner. The XAUBOT dashboard then shows:
- Status: Live = license verified and trading enabled
- Today: trades, win rate, profit and max drawdown
- DD limit: your Max Drawdown % converted to dollars for the current balance
- Symbol row: lot, DIR (WAIT = no setup yet), spread now / max, open P&L and TIME OK
- News: upcoming events and their impact
- AI view: XAUBOT's AI read of gold's structure and trend
DIR shows WAIT? That is normal. Aurion can wait hours for a valid setup, and skips wide spreads, news windows and the cooldown period.
Never close trades by hand mid-basket. Closing one level manually breaks the basket's logic. If you want out, close all Aurion trades and remove the robot.
Backtesting
- Open the Strategy Tester (Ctrl+R) and select Aurion.
- Choose your broker's gold symbol and the M15 period.
- Model: Every tick on MT4, or Every tick based on real ticks on MT5.
- Set a realistic gold spread (15–25 points), at least 1 year of data and an initial deposit of $1,000+.
- Press Start, then check the Graph and Report tabs.
Win rate isn't the whole story. Multi-level systems win often with small profits and lose less often with larger amounts. Include a volatile period to see how deep the baskets can go, and judge the result by profit factor and drawdown. Aurion's real-money account is tracked publicly on Myfxbook, an independent service that reads the trades directly from the broker (RoboForex, MT5, leverage 1:1000).

For a multi-level robot, watch the drawdown figure most closely.
Broker Requirements
Every level pays the spread, and a basket can hold several levels. On a 200-point target, a 15-point spread costs about 7.5%; a 45-point spread costs about 22%, and is above the 30-point limit, so trades are skipped.
- Low gold spread, typically 10–25 points on XAUUSD (well below the 30-point limit)
- Low slippage, with fast, stable execution around news
- Leverage 1:400+ for margin when several levels are open
- Hedging account
- MT4 or MT5, matching your Aurion build
- A regulated, established broker
Retail clients of some regulators (for example EU, UK, Australia) are limited to much lower leverage on gold. Check that your account can be opened with 1:400 or higher before funding it.
VPS
A multi-level basket can stay open for hours. Hidden stops, profit targets and the drawdown limit only work while MetaTrader runs. A VPS keeps Aurion managing its baskets 24/5.

Recommended: Windows Server, 2 vCPU, 2–4 GB RAM, SSD, in the same city as your broker's server. Put the MetaTrader shortcut in shell:startup so it restarts automatically.
Never "Shut down" or "Sign out" inside the VPS. Close the remote window with the X. Never run Aurion on your PC and the VPS at the same time.
Troubleshooting
