ScraperGold sizes lots from your balance, so the right preset depends on your account. Every buyer receives five ready-made presets:
• Low Risk: lot per engine 0.01 per 2,000, news filter On, min. balance 2,000
• Default (backtested): lot per engine 0.01 per 1,000, news filter Off, min. balance 1,000
• Medium Risk: lot per engine 0.01 per 1,000, news filter On, min. balance 1,000
• High Risk: lot per engine 0.01 per 500, news filter Off, min. balance 500
• FTMO 1-Step: lot per engine 0.01 per 2,000, news filter On, min. balance 50k / 100k
Two things many traders miss
1. Stay above the minimum balance. Below it, the EA still trades the smallest lot (0.01), so the real risk becomes higher than the preset intends.
2. Several engines can be in trades at the same time. In busy markets, total risk can be a few times the per-trade figure.
My advice: start one step lower than you think, watch the drawdown on your own account for a few weeks, and only then move up.
