About brokers and their sauce:
Visually, most brokers have similar quotes for gold, but in reality this is not the case.
It is important to understand that each broker has its own quote providers, usually several of them, sometimes even several dozen.
Brokers do not receive their quotes from one centralized access point.
This is why the quotes will always differ within each bar.
You need to understand that all we are given are historical quotes in MT5.
Yes, we have a multitude of indicators, a huge number of checks and protection from large spreads, strong news and large drawdowns.
But all this cannot predict all the risks for gold, especially during the release of strong news.
This is why I always recommend starting with a small risk or even on a demo account, just to test your broker's strength.
It's important to understand that MT5 can't accurately predict broker slippage; it happens indirectly; even the broker itself can't know what the slippage will be.
Yes, we don't use breakout strategies, and we don't have critical points of trader concentration in the market.
Big Gold Wins uses an ATR-based volatility filter, so during periods of huge swings we will try to stay out of the market.
The System also uses a strong news filter, and all of this can be adjusted in the settings.
Settings and recommendations:
As with any MQL5 trading system, accuracy is crucial, which is why it's always worth choosing a broker with low spreads.
Account type RAW / ECN / PRIME / PRO / EDGE usually such accounts always have low spreads, but it is better to contact me and just ask, I will tell you.
In future updates, I will add a function that will allow us to calculate the average execution time for each broker.
We usually use default settings, you can use any timeframe.
For optimization, we used brokers such as ICMarkets RAW Live01, Live02, Live03, ICTrading, Tickmill, Vantage, Equiti
The system optimization lasted until December 2025, so all trades you see in MT5 after 2025 are a continuation of these settings.
In other words, we can say that the system has been trading perfectly since the beginning of 2026 until today.
You can also create your own settings for manual operation mode and disable strategies you don't like.
