⏰ Specify Time-Based Closing Parameters
🕐 Set Close Time on Weekend (-1:off) (Default: -1)
- Controls weekend position closure
- -1 = disabled (positions remain open over weekend)
- Set to specific hour (0-23) to close all positions before weekend
- Useful to avoid weekend gaps and swap charges
📈 Trailing Block
✅ Apply Trailing Stop for Risk Control (Default: false)
- Enables dynamic stop loss that follows profitable trades
- Locks in profits as trade moves in favorable direction
- Recommended for trending market conditions
📊 Set Trailing Stop Strategy (Default: base on pips)
- Base on pips: Fixed pip distance trailing
- Base on ATR: Dynamic trailing based on market volatility
- Pips method is more predictable, ATR adapts to market conditions
🎯 Set Trailing Start in Pips (Default: 8.0)
- Minimum profit in pips before trailing stop activates
- Trade must be profitable by this amount first
- 8 pips ensures trade is solidly profitable before trailing
📏 Set Trailing Distance in Pips (Default: 8.0)
- Distance between current price and trailing stop
- Stop loss follows price at this fixed distance
- Smaller values = tighter stops but more premature exits
- 8 pips balances protection with giving trade room to breathe
📊 Set ATR Period for Trailing (Default: 8)
- Number of bars for ATR calculation (when using ATR strategy)
- Lower values = more responsive to recent volatility
- Higher values = smoother, less reactive to spikes
⏱️ Set ATR Timeframe for Trailing (Default: 30 Minutes)
- Chart timeframe for ATR calculation
- 30 minutes provides balanced volatility measurement
- Higher timeframes = wider stops, lower = tighter stops
✖️ Set Multiplier for ATR-Based Trailing (Default: 1.2)
- Multiplies ATR value to determine trailing distance
- 1.2 = trailing stop at 1.2x ATR from current price
- Higher values give more room, lower values tighten stops
⚖️ Specify Risk Parameters
📈 Lot Management Method (Default: Mid Risk)
- Low Risk (0.5%): Risks 0.5% of account balance per trade
- Mid Risk (1%): Risks 1% of account balance per trade
- Aggressive Risk (2%): Risks 2% of account balance per trade
- Very High Risk (2.5%): Risks 2.5% of account balance per trade
- Constant Lot: Uses the fixed lot size you manually set below
How Risk Percentages Work:
- When you select Low/Mid/Aggressive/Very High Risk, Lumeris automatically calculates lot sizes
- The EA adjusts lot size based on stop loss distance to maintain the selected risk percentage
- Example with $1,000 balance:
- - Low Risk (0.5%) = Maximum $5 risk per trade
- - Mid Risk (1%) = Maximum $10 risk per trade
- - Aggressive Risk (2%) = Maximum $20 risk per trade
- - Very High Risk (2.5%) = Maximum $25 risk per trade
- Lot sizes automatically increase as your account grows and decrease if it shrinks
📦 Determine Fixed Lot Size (Default: 0.2)
- This setting ONLY works when "Constant Lot" is selected above
- You manually set the exact lot size to trade
- The EA will always use this exact lot size regardless of account balance
- Ignored completely when using any risk percentage method (Low/Mid/Aggressive/Very High)
📰 Define News Filter Preferences
⚠️ Apply High Impact News Filter for Trade Safety (Default: false)
- Blocks trading during major economic releases (NFP, FOMC, etc.)
- Set to true for safer trading during volatile news
- Prevents unexpected losses from news spikes
⚠️ Apply Medium Impact News Filter for Trade Safety (Default: false)
- Avoids medium-tier economic data releases
- Reduces exposure to moderate volatility events
- Recommended for conservative traders
⚠️ Apply Low Impact News Filter for Trade Safety (Default: false)
- Filters out minor economic announcements
- Usually unnecessary unless ultra-conservative approach desired
- May reduce trading opportunities significantly
⏸️ Set Pause Before News for Trading (Default: 2 hours)
- Hours to stop trading before scheduled news
- Prevents entering positions that might be affected by upcoming volatility
- Increase to 3-4 hours for major events like FOMC
⏸️ Set Pause After News for Trading (Default: 2 hours)
- Hours to wait after news before resuming trading
- Allows market to settle after volatile reactions
- Can be reduced to 1 hour for minor news events
🛡️ Define Drawdown Closing Preferences
⚠️ Set Limit for Maximum Drawdown Allowed (Default: 30.0%)
- Maximum floating loss percentage before emergency closure
- Monitors real-time account equity
- 30% is conservative and protects capital
- Your last line of defense against account blow-up
🔴 Close All at Chosen Drawdown (Default: true)
- Enables automatic position closure at max drawdown
- Should ALWAYS be true unless monitoring 24/7
- This is your account's emergency brake
- Disabling removes critical safety feature
