I've seen too many traders destroy their accounts by accidentally entering wrong risk values - typing 10 instead of 1.0, or 50 instead of 5. One small mistake and months of profits vanish in minutes. That's why Lumeris uses a protected dropdown system for risk selection. You can only choose from three carefully calibrated risk levels that have been extensively tested. This isn't about limiting your freedom - it's about protecting your future. The Force Risk option exists for professionals who need custom control, but it's disabled by default for a reason.
