GBP showing some signs of outperformance, gaining against the USD and EUR in recent trade, but now also showing potential against the commodity currencies. GBP/AUD has been recovering well from sub 1.8600’s levels yesterday morning, and now looks set to extend gains towards 1.9000, before fresh pressure sets in. As such, Cable may have a little more upside to go, and on the tech charts, the high 1.4100’s to low 1.4200’s look a more comfortable resell under the circumstances.
