EquityFence MT5 — Plan and manage trades with clear risk information
EquityFence MT5 is a manual trade-planning and position-management utility for MetaTrader 5. It helps you review position size, estimated stop-loss and take-profit outcomes, and account-wide exposure before you confirm an order. It does not provide trading signals or open trades automatically.
PLAN BEFORE YOU SEND
Choose BUY or SELL, select a Market or broker-supported Pending order, set risk as a percentage or account-currency amount, and create a chart plan. Adjust the Entry, Stop Loss, Take Profit, and Stop Limit Trigger lines where applicable. The panel shows volume, estimated loss at the stop, estimated target outcomes, and the effect on the configured daily risk limit. Creating or moving a plan never sends an order. You must click Confirm.
Supported order types: Market, Limit, Stop, and Stop Limit, subject to the symbol and broker’s rules. Use fixed point distances or ATR-based defaults. Prices follow the symbol tick size. Risk-sized volume rounds down to the broker’s volume step; an order is blocked if the minimum volume exceeds the selected risk.
ACCOUNT-WIDE RISK VIEW
The daily guard is shared across charts in the same MT5 terminal. It considers current equity, open positions, pending orders, estimated movement to their stop losses, the proposed order, and costs that can be estimated. Exposure without a usable stop or price estimate is treated as unbounded and blocks additional risk. If no equity reference was stored while the terminal was offline at reset, the first attach establishes the reference at that time.
Set the daily loss limit as a percentage or account-currency amount and choose the reset time using broker-server time. Risk figures are estimates. Gaps, slippage, unknown fees, and orders placed outside the panel can change account results.
MANAGE POSITIONS ON THE CHART SYMBOL
EquityFence can manage positions and pending orders on the attached chart symbol, including trades opened manually, from mobile, or by another EA. Management is not filtered by Magic Number. Auto SL/TP fills only missing server-side levels and preserves existing levels. Break-even uses known fees and current swap where available; trailing and automatic partial close can be enabled in Settings.
Review scope before using Close symbol, Delete pending, Reverse, or Auto-Flatten: symbol actions include all positions and pending orders for that symbol. Auto-Flatten is off by default and normally applies to the chart symbol. Whole-account flatten is a separate opt-in. On netting accounts, MT5 combines same-symbol exposure, so positions cannot be isolated by origin. Hedge actions are unavailable on netting accounts.
BROKER-AWARE CHECKS
The Info page shows broker-reported stop and freeze distances, tick and point sizes, contract size, volume limits, spread, trading permissions, execution mode, and account mode. Before confirmation, the panel rechecks permissions, quotes, margin, pending-order geometry, Market-entry spread limits, broker price-distance rules, and the daily guard.
Estimated results use MT5 profit calculations and an automatic commission estimate from charged deal history for the same symbol. If matching history is unavailable, commission is excluded and the panel identifies that limitation. Actual results may differ due to commission, swap, fees, spread, slippage, gaps, and execution prices.
OPTIONAL TELEGRAM JOURNAL
Telegram notifications, trade screenshots, and daily summaries are optional. Enter your own Bot Token and Chat ID in the EA Inputs and allow https://api.telegram.org in MT5 Expert Advisors options. Credentials stay in your terminal and are not required for panel functions. MT5 WebRequest is synchronous and may pause the EA briefly while a request waits. Delivery is best effort and reported only after a successful response.
REQUIREMENTS AND LIMITATIONS
• MetaTrader 5 and a broker-enabled symbol such as XAUUSD or a Forex pair. Broker symbol names may include suffixes.
• Enable Algo Trading and allow trading for the EA and account.
• Use one active panel per symbol in a terminal. Coordination does not extend across terminals or VPS instances.
• The EA must remain running for terminal-side position management. Server-side SL/TP accepted by the broker remain active if the terminal stops.
• No DLL and no virtual or hidden stop losses.
• Risk and payout figures are estimates, not guaranteed execution results. This utility does not provide investment advice, signals, or profit guarantees.
