Stop Line Trade Manager

You already know where the stop should sit. Drag the gold line there, set the risk, press Trade. Lot size is worked out from that distance. No grid of buttons for things you do once a year.

Stop Line Trade Manager is a chart panel for manual trading. Optional green entry line in pending mode. This is not an automated strategy and it does not generate signals.

How to use

1. Attach the Expert Advisor to a chart.
2. Drag the stop line to where you want the stop loss.
3. Choose MARKET or PENDING. In pending mode, drag the green entry line as well.
4. Set risk in account currency or as a percent of equity. Use + / − on the panel to change the amount.
5. Press TRADE. The order is sized so that a stop at that line matches the risk you entered. Take profit uses the Reward / Risk input (default 2).
6. Open positions show 100 / 50 / 25 / 10 / BE on the chart. Pending orders show DEL.
7. ARMED / DISARMED hides the lines and blocks Trade without removing the Expert Advisor. Disarm also stops automatic break-even.

Panel

• CLOSE ALL for managed positions and pending orders on that symbol (optional confirm)
• Order type label (buy / sell, market or pending) from the lines
• LOT, SL distance, spread, bid, and time on the chart
• UI scale − / +
• Three colour schemes: Classic Gold, Graphite Gold, Terminal Teal. On a light chart, line labels and the HUD switch to dark ink automatically

Risk and management

• Risk as money or percent of equity, with your own +/− steps
• Maximum lot cap
• Optional automatic break-even (distance in pips, or the stop distance; optional stop exactly at entry)
• Also manage manual trades with magic 0, if that input is on
• Stops and volume are checked against the broker before send

Important

• Chart buttons do not work in the Strategy Tester, so the Free Demo cannot show Trade, drag, or the close buttons. To try the panel on a chart, use the one-month rent on a broker demo account (not live money).
• Works on the symbol and chart you attach it to. Not a multi-symbol basket trader.
• Does not promise results. You choose the stop, the side, and when to send.
