Buying vs Selling Force + Trap Detector is an advanced MetaTrader 5 indicator designed to analyze the relationship between buying pressure, selling pressure, volume, and price action, helping traders identify potentially significant market events directly on the chart.
In addition to displaying estimated buying and selling force for each candle, the indicator includes a powerful Trap Detector designed to identify potential Stop Hunts, Absorption, Fake Breakouts, Exhaustion, and confirmed buying or selling flow.
Advanced Trap Detector
The indicator analyzes volume, candle range, and buying/selling imbalance to identify potentially important market situations.
STOP HUNT
Detects high-volume movements that break a previous high or low and then return inside the previous range, potentially indicating a liquidity sweep or stop hunt.
ABSORPTION
Identifies high-volume candles with relatively small price ranges, which may indicate strong absorption and intense buying/selling activity.
FAKE BREAKOUT
Detects potential false breakouts when price breaks a previous high or low but closes back in the opposite direction while showing strong buying or selling imbalance.
EXHAUSTION
Identifies potential exhaustion when buying or selling pressure remains dominant while the candle range becomes significantly smaller.
FLOW +
Highlights potential confirmed buying flow when high volume, large range, strong buying imbalance, and a bullish close occur together.
FLOW -
Highlights potential confirmed selling flow when high volume, large range, strong selling imbalance, and a bearish close occur together.
Buying vs Selling Force
For every candle, the indicator calculates an estimated relationship between buying and selling force based on the position of the candle's close within its trading range.
