Breakout and Momentum Indicator for MetaTrader 4

Overview

Quantum Momentum Guard (QMG) is a technical indicator for MetaTrader 4 designed to identify potential breakout opportunities using momentum analysis and mathematical validation.

The indicator evaluates market conditions according to its internal rules and displays directional signals when the configured criteria are met. It is designed primarily for XAUUSD (Gold) and can also be applied to other instruments supported by MetaTrader 4.

QMG provides chart-based entry signals and predefined Stop Loss and Take Profit levels to assist traders in analyzing potential trade setups and planning trade management.

Trading Logic

QMG combines three main analytical components:

  • Breakout analysis to identify potential price movements beyond relevant market levels.

  • Momentum analysis to assess the direction and strength of price movement.

  • Mathematical validation to evaluate whether the configured signal conditions are satisfied.

These components are used to identify potential trading setups based on the indicator's internal logic. Signals should be assessed alongside market conditions and an appropriate trading strategy.

Entry Signals

The indicator displays directional arrows on the chart:

  • Buy Signal: indicates a potential bullish setup.

  • Sell Signal: indicates a potential bearish setup.

Signals are generated according to the indicator's calculation rules. They are intended to support technical analysis and do not guarantee that the market will move in the anticipated direction.

Stop Loss and Take Profit Levels

QMG displays trade management levels directly on the chart.

Stop Loss (SL)

A dot marker identifies the calculated Stop Loss level associated with a signal.

Take Profit (TP)

The indicator displays five target levels:

  • TP-1

  • TP-2

  • TP-3

  • TP-4

  • TP-5

These levels can help traders plan potential exits and consider partial position closures. Actual execution and trading results depend on market conditions, broker execution, and individual risk management decisions.
