TrueRisk Trade Copier MT5

Copy your trades to every account, each sized to its own risk

TrueRisk Trade Copier copies trades between MetaTrader 5 terminals on the same computer or VPS: from the account you trade to your other accounts, to a prop-firm challenge, or from a personal account to a funded one. Each receiving account sizes every copy to its own risk % from the sender's stop loss, and never lets a copy's stop break that account's daily or maximum loss limit.

Free 14-day trial (demo accounts) | TrueRisk Account Guard Pro (the guard on its own) | TrueRisk Trade Manager (trade panel + guard)

  • A 10k and a 200k account copying the same trade each risk the same percent
  • Stop loss and take profit changes, partial closes and closes are followed (live test: copies opened and closed within 0.5 s)
  • The full TrueRisk Account Guard Pro engine runs on every receiver: daily and maximum loss locks, news lock, Friday close, optional prop-firm presets
  • One payment, no subscription, no DLLs, no internet service. Free 14-day trial on demo accounts

How it works

  • One file, two modes: attach it as Sender on the account you trade, and as Receiver on each account that should copy it (same channel name)
  • The sender writes its open positions to MetaTrader's shared folder; receivers read it every 0.1 s
  • Copies opening, stop loss and take profit changes, partial closes and closes
  • Receivers keep their copies if the sender's terminal is closed, disconnected or switches to another account; nothing is closed until the sender is back and really has closed the trade

Lot size of a copy (receiver)

  • Risk %: the copy risks X% of this account's balance, equity or initial balance, measured from the sender's stop loss (default 0.5%)
  • Or: the sender's lot x balance ratio x multiplier, the sender's lot x multiplier, or a fixed lot
  • Optional: copy with the smallest lot when the size works out smaller

Limit-safe copying (what makes it different)

Before every copy the receiver adds up what it would lose if every open trade and pending order hit its stop loss. The copy's stop may only use the room that is left before the daily or maximum loss limit (minus the safety buffer). If it needs more, the lot is cut to fit, or the copy is skipped if you prefer. If the sender later widens its stop, the receiver follows only when the room allows it, otherwise it keeps its own stop. When the guard locks the account, new trades are not copied, and a copy the guard closed is not reopened.

What is copied, and what is not

  • Sender's trades without a stop loss: wait until the sender sets one (default), copy with a stop of 1.5 x ATR(14) H1, or copy without a stop
  • Skips a trade if the price has moved more than X% of its stop since the sender's entry (default 25%), so a late copy never starts far behind
  • Trades that were already open more than a minute before the receiver saw them are not copied (optional)
  • Filters: only these symbols, never these symbols, only these magic numbers (0 = manual trades)
  • Symbol names: EURUSD, EURUSD.s, EURUSDm and EURUSD.pro are matched automatically; other names through a map (for example US30=DJ30, XAUUSD=GOLD)
  • Stop loss and take profit at the sender's prices, or at the sender's distance from the entry (for brokers with different quotes)
  • Pending orders are copied when they fill. There is no reverse copying: prop firms treat hedging between accounts as a breach

Account guard (receiver: the whole account, every symbol, every EA, manual trades)

  • Your own daily and maximum loss limits, or a prop-firm preset: FTMO 2-Step, FTMO 1-Step, FundedNext Stellar 2-Step, The5ers High Stakes
  • Daily loss limit with the reset in server time, Prague time, New York time or UTC (summer time handled)
  • Maximum loss: static, trailing or end-of-day trailing
  • Steps in at, for example, 80% of a limit: closes all positions, deletes pending orders and keeps trading locked (daily: until the reset, maximum: for good)
  • Optional: per-trade loss cap and stop loss for trades without one, max positions, lots and trades per day, high-impact news lock (MetaTrader's built-in calendar), Friday close

The presets follow the rules the firms published in October 2026. Firms change their rules: compare the panel with your firm's dashboard before trading. Most firms allow copying between your own accounts but not copying other people's trades; check your firm's rules on trade copying.

Panels

  • Sender: positions shared and which receivers are running (with their number of copies)
  • Receiver: copying or on hold (and why), copies open, waiting and not copied (with the reason), the lot rule, the room before a limit, today's result and both limits

Try it in the Strategy Tester

In the tester the receiver copies a simulated sender on the chart's symbol (tester only): it opens trades, sets a late stop on some, closes half, moves the stop to break-even and closes, so you can watch the sizing, the room check and the guard at work. In the tester a copy that works out smaller than the smallest lot is opened with the smallest lot.

How it was tested

Live, on a demo account (12 October 2026, two terminals on one computer, EURUSD, receiver at 0.5% risk of a 50,113 account):

  • A 0.10 lot buy with a 20-pip stop was copied in 360 ms as 1.25 lot, risk 250.00
  • The sender's tighter stop, nearer target and then a wider stop were followed by the copy
  • The sender closed half (0.10 to 0.05); the copy followed (1.25 to 0.63)
  • A sell without a stop loss was not copied until the sender set one, then copied as 1.25 lot, risk 250.00
  • The sender closed both trades; both copies were closed 485 ms later

Strategy Tester, PU Prime history, 1-minute OHLC, 100,000 USD account, simulated sender with random entries (the entries mean nothing; the test is about the copying and the sizing):

  • Default settings, XAUUSD, January to April 2026: 247 sender trades, 202 copied at 0.49% risk on average, 145 partial closes, 80 stop changes and 71 closes followed (the other copies reached their own stop or target with the sender). 40 were not copied: the sender set its stop late and by then the price had moved more than 25% of it. 0 failed trade requests
  • FTMO 2-Step preset with a deliberately high 3% risk per copy, XAUUSD: the random entries took the account down to 92,003.25, just above 92,000, where the guard steps in (80% of the 10% maximum loss). Copies were cut to fit the room three times, then skipped because even the smallest lot's stop could have crossed that level. The lock never had to fire
  • EURUSD with default settings, and a 200 USD account: the same picture, copying stopped above the guard's level; 0 failed requests
  • Copying without a stop loss at a fixed 0.5 lot (FTMO preset): here the room can't be checked, so the guard's lock had to step in; the account ended at 91,980.93, above the 90,000 limit. This is why the default waits for the sender's stop loss

Good to know

  • All terminals must run on the same computer or VPS (local copier) and stay open
  • Each terminal needs its own chart with the copier; use a different channel name for each sender
  • Receivers on netting accounts (one position per symbol) copy one trade per symbol at a time
  • Lot sizes come from the broker's own tick values (OrderCalcProfit); commissions are not included in the risk
  • Trades without a stop loss can't be counted in the room; the receiver's panel says so while one is open

Inputs

  • Copier: mode (sender or receiver), channel
  • Receiver lot size: risk %, risk base, multiplier, fixed lot, shrink or skip when the room is too small, smallest lot allowed
  • What to copy: follow stop loss and take profit changes, stops at the sender's prices or distances, trades without a stop loss, maximum price move, older trades, symbol and magic filters, symbol map, magic number of the copies
  • Sender: also run the account guard on the sender's account
  • Loss limits and prop firm rules: preset, initial balance, highest balance so far (trailing), daily and maximum loss limits, safety buffer, warning level, daily profit target
  • Per-trade loss cap, trades without a stop loss, trade limits, news lock, Friday close
  • Alerts, push notifications, panel corner and font size
  • Tester demo (Strategy Tester only)
