Premium Volume Profile

Premium Volume Profile shows you where the market actually traded. Instead of volume by time along the bottom, it plots volume by price — a horizontal histogram down the right of your chart that reveals the levels where the most business was done, marks the single busiest price (the Point of Control), and shades the zone where the chosen share of volume changed hands (the Value Area).
Volume by price, at a glance
- A horizontal histogram shows how much volume traded at each price over your chosen range — long bars are heavily-traded prices, short bars are thin ones.
- Choose how many Volume Bars split the range, their thickness, and a length multiplier to scale the whole profile to taste.
Point of Control (PoC)
- A Point of Control line marks the single price with the most traded volume — often a natural magnet and support/resistance level.
- Show or hide it, and set its line thickness and colour (default yellow).
Value Area (VA)
- The Value Area highlights the price zone where a chosen percentage of the volume traded — set the Value Area Percentage yourself.
- Optional Value Area High / Value Area Low lines mark the top and bottom of that zone, with their own thickness and colour (default blue).
Follows your chart — Visible Range or Fixed Range
- Use Visible Range: the profile is built from exactly the bars you can see, and rebuilds as you scroll and zoom.
- Or set a Fixed Range Lookback Depth — a fixed number of bars back — for a stable profile that doesn't change with the view.
Always on screen
- The profile is pinned to your chart's right edge and re-pins itself as you scroll or zoom, so it's always where you're looking — with an adjustable right margin if you want it set in from the edge.
Split by direction
- Show Both sides, or only Bullish or only Bearish volume, to see which side did the trading at each price.
Real or Tick volume
- Build the profile from Real Volume where your feed provides it, or from Tick Volume — your choice, so it works on the instruments and feeds you trade.
Light and live
- The profile updates live as the current candle forms, and stays light on your terminal — it refreshes the forming candle without rebuilding the whole histogram every tick.

- Every colour, thickness, count and range is an input — Volume Bar colour, PoC colour, Value Area colour, number of bars, and more.
