Smart Zones ZST Xauusd Trading Utility

SMART ZONES ZST is an advanced manual and semi-automated trading tool for MetaTrader 5, specifically developed for XAUUSD.

It combines important price zone detection and visualization, order execution, position management, profit protection, hedging, news trading, and global exit management in a single panel.

The tool is designed to assist traders during live trading and make position management faster, more organized, and more efficient.

By default, SMART ZONES ZST does not automatically open trades. Trading functions are activated by the trader directly from the panel or through the corresponding settings.

It includes carefully prepared default settings, while allowing each function to be adjusted according to the trader's strategy, risk profile, and personal criteria.

Main Features

• Multi-Timeframe Important Zones: detects and displays relevant zones from M1, M3, M5, M15, H1, and H4.

• Zone Touch: automatically places Buy Limit and Sell Limit orders at the nearest eligible zones that have not yet been used. Take Profit, Stop Loss, and other parameters are fully configurable.

• New Zone: allows the trader to operate newly detected zones that appear during market movement. It can automatically manage entries, a predefined target sequence, and configurable volume scaling. The entire function can be activated with a single click.

• Break Even + Step Trailing Stop: protects positions once the configured distance is reached, secures profit, and continues moving the Stop Loss in favor of the trade. Multiple positions can be managed automatically through a single function.

• SmartHedge: an intelligent hedging system based on the net exposure of open positions. It can use a dynamic pending order to hedge negative exposure, help prevent duplicate hedges, and temporarily lock exposure while waiting for a better exit or future unlock opportunity.

• News Straddle: a manually activated function designed for high-impact events such as NFP, CPI, FOMC, and other important USD news releases. It allows the trader to configure direction, volume, and pending-order distance. Once one order from the active Straddle cycle is triggered, the opposite order can be cancelled automatically. The entire process can be managed from its visual panel with a single click.

• Close Profit: quickly closes profitable positions associated with the chart symbol.

• Close All: quickly closes all managed positions for the symbol, which can be especially useful during periods of high volatility.

• Global Exit Management: allows positions to be closed using:

  • A specific XAUUSD target price.

  • A specific absolute account equity level.

  This supervision can include manually opened positions as well as new positions for the symbol displayed on the chart.

• Automatic Volume Monitoring: displays total Buy volume, Sell volume, and net exposure, automatically calculating the combined lot size of Buy and Sell positions.

• Server Clock: displays the broker server time in AM/PM format with seconds directly on the panel.

• Economic Calendar: displays a countdown to the next scheduled high-impact USD event, allowing the trader to quickly see how much time remains before an important news release.

Operation and Requirements

Install SMART ZONES ZST as an Expert Advisor (EA) on an XAUUSD chart, enable algorithmic trading in MetaTrader 5, and select the functions you want to use directly from the panel.

The New Zone, SmartHedge, and Straddle functions require a Hedging account, since they may need to maintain independent positions and, when applicable, opposite positions at the same time.

The tool supports symbol suffixes, depending on the naming convention used by the broker.

No private account license, activation code, or external license server is required.

Straddle Configuration

The Straddle uses 5 lots per direction by default.

Before activating it, always verify:

• Configured volume.

• Available margin.

• Contract size.

• Broker volume limits.

• Minimum pending-order distance.

• Broker-specific trading conditions.

The volume can be adjusted from the settings according to the trader's requirements.

Price Distance

In SMART ZONES ZST, a price distance of 1 represents, for example, a movement such as:

2500 → 2501

This represents a price movement and does not represent a fixed monetary profit amount.

The financial result depends on the selected volume, symbol specifications, and account type.

When configuring targets based on equity, the account currency units must also be considered, especially when using Cent accounts.

Straddle and Economic News

When the Straddle is active and a qualifying USD event is approaching, the system can continue tracking the pending orders until the configured moment before the news release.

Dynamic pending-order tracking is frozen one second before the event, preventing last-second modifications immediately before the release.

The AM/PM server clock display is visual only and does not modify calculations based on broker server time.

Economic calendar availability and accuracy depend on MetaTrader 5 and the corresponding data provider.

Economic calendar data is not available in the same way inside the Strategy Tester, so any behavior related to live news timing should also be verified separately using a connected Demo account.

Testing

You can use the Strategy Tester in Visual Mode to inspect the panel and test the behavior of its different modules.

For automated testing without manual clicks, you can explicitly configure the initial state of selected functions:

• Initial state of Zone Touch.

• Timeframes used by Zone Touch.

• Initial state of New Zone.

• Initial state of Straddle.

These startup options are disabled by default.

The same main trading functions used during testing are also used during normal operation.

Zones that already existed before New Zone was activated are not automatically treated as new signals.

Risk and Execution

Volume scaling increases account exposure and therefore can also increase potential losses.

External factors such as:

spread, slippage, gaps, liquidity, available margin, broker restrictions, execution speed, and connectivity issues

may affect how and at what price orders are executed.

The cancellation of an opposite Straddle order after one order is triggered is performed as a reaction to the received execution. Therefore, it does not constitute an atomic execution guarantee provided by the broker.

Global equity monitoring may use virtual monitoring mechanisms when a suitable common price cannot be calculated for all positions.

When virtual management functions are used, MetaTrader 5 must remain open, running, and connected so the tool can continue performing the required supervision.
