ARRAKIS IV
ARRAKIS IV is a multi-currency Expert Advisor for MetaTrader 5. It operates twelve strategy modules from a single chart: four Main Engines and eight Satellite Engines.
The portfolio trades USDJPY, NZDUSD, EURAUD, GBPUSD, EURJPY, USDCHF, CHFJPY and EURUSD across multiple timeframes.
SETUP GUIDE | PUBLIC MONITORING
Portfolio Structure
Each module has its own signal logic, timeframe and Magic Number identity. Positions are managed separately for every module, so one module cannot close or modify another module’s basket.
The four Main Engines form the portfolio core. The eight Satellite Engines add signals from other symbol and timeframe combinations. The complete portfolio operates from one chart.
Basket Management
When a module has multiple open positions, ARRAKIS IV manages them as one basket.
The basket take-profit is calculated from the volume-weighted average entry price and is automatically updated whenever the basket changes.
Additional basket entries use a fixed, equal order size. ARRAKIS IV does not automatically increase the lot size of each new basket order.
Entry distance and maximum basket depth are configured separately for every module.
Each module also has its own:
- Pip-based basket take profit
- Pip-based basket stop loss
- Maximum basket depth
- Entry spacing
- Maximum holding time
When the price or time limit is reached, only the affected module’s basket is closed.
The calculated TP and SL levels are displayed on the information panel. For an active basket on the current chart symbol, these levels are also shown directly on the chart.
Portfolio Controls
- Independent ON/OFF switch for every module
- Individual lot size for all twelve modules
- Maximum lot size per order
- Maximum combined net exposure
- Maximum combined gross exposure
- Master switch for new entries
- Optional central account protection
- Broker symbol prefix and suffix support
- Adjustable Magic Number base
Turning a module off prevents new entries from that module. Any existing positions remain under active management.
If an order exceeds a configured exposure limit, it is rejected instead of being opened with a different lot size.
Information Panel
The on-chart panel displays:
- Account balance
- Account equity
- Current drawdown
- Combined portfolio exposure
- Status of all twelve modules
- Configured module lot sizes
- Basket TP and SL distances
- Number of open positions
- Floating profit or loss

Before Live Use
Add all required symbols to Market Watch and confirm that the broker’s symbol names are correct. Use the prefix and suffix inputs when required.
Test the Expert Advisor on a demo account using the intended broker and trading conditions before live operation.
Lot sizes and exposure limits must be selected according to the account size and the user’s personal risk tolerance.
Historical test results do not guarantee future performance. Trading leveraged products involves substantial risk.
