ARRAKIS IV 3.00 — FOUR INTRADAY FX STRATEGIES

INTRADAY FOCUS. NO DCA. NO MARTINGALE. Four FX pairs. Four standalone strategies. One chart.

ARRAKIS IV 3.00 is a multi-currency Expert Advisor for MetaTrader 5 with four completely new strategies compared with version 2.0. Each strategy takes one independent trade with its own predefined take profit and stop loss. The portfolio primarily focuses on intraday trading, while some positions may extend into swing trades. It is not a scalping system.

One trade per FX pair. Defined risk and reward. TP or SL.

SETUP IN FOUR STEPS

• Install ARRAKIS IV 3.00 in MetaTrader 5.
• Add AUDUSD, EURGBP, USDCHF and USDJPY to Market Watch.
• Attach one EA instance to an EURUSD H1 chart and review the inputs, position size and broker symbol names.
• Enable Algo Trading and the EA's trading permission.

The EA reads the required symbols and timeframes internally. A separate chart for each strategy is not required. All four strategies are enabled by default, with a requested fixed lot size of 0.01 lot per pair.

FOUR FX PAIRS — DEFINED RISK:REWARD

AUDUSD — R:R 1:1.5
Take profit: 90 pips. Stop loss: 60 pips.

EURGBP — R:R 1:2
Take profit: 80 pips. Stop loss: 40 pips.

USDCHF — R:R 1:1
Take profit: 60 pips. Stop loss: 60 pips.

USDJPY — R:R 1:2
Take profit: 80 pips. Stop loss: 40 pips.

R:R means risk:reward (SL:TP). These are the default price-distance ratios before trading costs, slippage and any optional TP/SL adjustments. Each pair can be enabled or disabled independently.

ONE EA — FOUR INDEPENDENT STRATEGIES

The portfolio combines four standalone strategies across AUDUSD, EURGBP, USDCHF and USDJPY. Version 3.00 replaces the previous strategy architecture with a new four-strategy portfolio.

• Each strategy has its own signal logic and Magic Number identity.
• Each FX pair has an independent ON/OFF switch.
• At most one ARRAKIS IV position per enabled pair, per EA instance.
• Choose fixed lots, equity-based percentage risk or fixed monetary risk per trade.
• Trade comments identify the pair, such as ARRAKIS EURGBP.

ONE POSITION PER PAIR — NO DCA — NO MARTINGALE

One position per pair, with a predefined TP and SL. ARRAKIS IV does not add averaging positions to a losing trade and does not build recovery baskets.

NO DCA: no additional entries to average the entry price of an open position.
NO MARTINGALE: no automatic lot multiplication after losses.

The standard exit is TP or SL. Optional equity protection, weekend protection and the emergency stop can close positions earlier when enabled. These controls do not add recovery trades.

PORTFOLIO-LEVEL RISK CONTROLS

• Fixed lot size, equity-based percentage risk or fixed monetary risk per trade
• Optional limits for active strategies, total lots and trades sharing a currency
• Optional limit on estimated combined stop-loss risk
• Master switch for new entries and an emergency stop for this EA's positions
• Optional daily, total and trailing equity protection, plus a profit target
• Optional spread, news, weekend and rollover controls
• Optional entry delay, TP/SL randomization and a pause after a losing streak

Optional protections and filters are disabled by default. Equity protection monitors the whole account; its position-closing actions apply to this EA's identified positions. Review the inputs before enabling any limit or protection.

INFORMATION PANEL

The enlarged, adjustable on-chart dashboard displays account equity, balance, free margin, ARRAKIS IV open profit or loss, enabled module counts and open positions. A light sand, bronze and gold colour scheme gives the chart and panel a unified desert-inspired appearance.

Dashboard scale, corner, position and colours are configurable. The default panel scale is 140%, with an adjustable range of 70–180%.

BROKER COMPATIBILITY

MetaTrader 5 netting and hedging accounts are supported. Symbol prefix and suffix inputs adapt the instrument names to your broker. A configurable Magic Number base identifies the EA's trades.

On netting accounts, an existing position on a pair blocks a new ARRAKIS IV entry. Keep each traded pair exclusive to ARRAKIS IV while it has an open position: manual orders or another EA's orders on that pair can merge into the same net position.

Broker minimum lot: In fixed-lot mode, UseBrokerMinimumLot is enabled by default. If your broker requires a larger minimum, the actual position size increases to that minimum, which also increases monetary risk. The panel and journal identify affected pairs. Disable this option to skip entries below the broker minimum. Percentage-risk and money-risk modes never round up beyond the configured risk budget.

Confirm access to all four FX symbols, contract specifications, leverage, margin requirements and trading conditions with your broker. No external indicator or DLL is required.

BEFORE LIVE USE

• Use the version 3.00 inputs and presets; settings for the previous architecture do not describe this four-strategy version.
• Review the requested 0.01-lot setting, your broker’s minimum lot and the resulting actual position size.
• Confirm that all four required symbols are visible in Market Watch.
• Configure symbol prefix or suffix inputs if your broker modifies symbol names.
• Run the intended setup on a demo account under your broker's trading conditions.

Historical performance illustrations use a separate fixed 0.10-lot preset on a USD 1,000 test account. This differs from the EA's default 0.01-lot setting. The live news filter uses the terminal's economic calendar and should remain disabled during historical testing.
