Most gold EAs look great on a 1-minute-OHLC backtest and fall apart on real ticks. Bullion Forge was built the other way around: it was validated on MT5 "Every tick based on real ticks" at 99% history quality — the closest model to live trading — and only the configurations that survived that test were kept. What you see is what was actually tested, tick by tick.

Why Bullion Forge is different

• ✅ A real hard stop-loss on every single trade. No grid, no martingale, no averaging-down, no "recovery" baskets, no hidden floating drawdown. If a trade is wrong, it takes a defined, small loss — by design.
• ✅ Validated on REAL ticks (99% quality), not the optimistic 1-minute model. The published backtest is the real-tick one.
• ✅ Honest about what it is. This is a trend / continuation system for gold. It earns in directional, trending gold and defends near break-even in chop. It is not sold as an "all-weather, every-day income machine" — because honest backtesting showed it isn't one.
• ✅ Broker-robust order handling. Stop-loss, take-profit and limit-entry prices automatically adapt to each broker's minimum-stop distance and live spread, and the EA stands down while the gold market is in its session break. Two engines — you choose One EA, independently toggleable engines, run any subset (even together):

• Engine A — Core Trend Engine. Captures larger gold trends with a regime filter. The flagship edge.
• Engine B — Continuation Harvest. A higher-win-rate intraday module that rides pullback-continuations in the prevailing trend, exiting by trailing winners. Two independent variants (different trend classifiers) for genuine diversification, and it can be set long-only for persistent up-trends.

Fully modular — your choice of control Every module (Engine A, plus harvest slots B1/B2/B4) is independently configurable: turn it on/off, set direction, lot or %-risk sizing, stop-loss, trailing, max concurrent positions, and time filters — all per module. You are never locked into a fixed configuration.

Out of the box it runs the full combination — trend + both harvests — so you can just attach it to a gold chart and go. Prefer a different style? Switch modules on or off right in the inputs:

• Trend only — keep Engine A on, turn the harvests off.
• Harvest only (smoother, higher-frequency) — turn Engine A off, keep B1 + B2 on.
• Long-only — run the harvest long-side only for persistent gold up-trends.

(Slot B3 is an extra/experimental slot, disabled by default.)

Real-tick backtest snapshot (XAUUSD M15, ICM, 2025–2026, real ticks @ 99% quality, 0.01 lot)

• Both calendar years profitable on every engine.
• Continuation-harvest sleeve: Profit Factor ≈ 1.7, max drawdown a small fraction of net, and profit factor stayed above 1.4 even after removing the 5 biggest winning trades — i.e. not built on a couple of lucky trades.
• Survives 2× and 3× cost-inflation stress tests. (Backtest results are attached and reproducible; past performance does not guarantee future results.)

Recommended use

• Symbol: XAUUSD (gold). Timeframe: any — all logic runs internally on its own timeframes; attach to any chart and it auto-detects gold.
• Account: hedging, low-spread (ECN/raw) recommended; gold tick-data quality matters for any gold EA.
• Risk: per-engine lot sizing (fixed lot or % risk). Start at 0.01 and scale conservatively.
• A built-in account-level drawdown breaker flattens and pauses everything if a hard limit is hit.

Honest risk disclosure

• Gold-specific, trend/continuation-biased — best in trending/directional gold, weaker in chop/range.
• 2025–2026 was a strong gold bull, so recent backtests reflect a favorable regime.
• The trend engine and harvest engines are correlated gold exposure; cap combined sizing.
