Overview

NanoTrend AI trades gold with three price-action strategies. Each one can be switched on or off, so you choose how you want to trade. In live and demo trading, your own AI model (Gemini, OpenAI, Anthropic, DeepSeek, Grok or OpenRouter) reviews each setup and approves or rejects it before a trade opens. Every trade has a fixed stop loss and take profit. No martingale, no grid, no averaging.

Strategies (each on or off)

Reversal — the main strategy, on by default. Looks for a rejection at a key level and trades the turn. It skips choppy conditions, does not trade during broker hour 15, and does not enter when price is stretched far from the EMA 50.

Pullback — off by default. Trades with the M15 structure after a pullback to a level, and skips late entries and trades where the spread is too large for the stop.

Scalper — experimental, off by default. A short 1:1 pullback breakout that also checks market structure on M5, M15, H1 and H4. It has less testing than Reversal.

Quick start

  1. Attach the EA to an XAUUSD M5 chart and enable AutoTrading
  2. Get an API key from your chosen provider
  3. Paste your key into the matching input field
  4. Enable WebRequest for your provider's domain in MT5 Tools → Options → Expert Advisors
  5. Choose your strategies (Reversal, Pullback, Scalper)
  6. Set FixedLotSize to your desired trade size

Important

The AI cannot run inside the MetaTrader Strategy Tester, so backtests use the EA's built-in rules in place of the AI's approval. Live results with the AI can differ. Backtests are not forecasts. Test on a demo account first.

I believe this EA is designed to consistently generate profits through high-frequency trading. Because it often closes lots in just a few seconds, the results may vary depending on the broker and VPS used. I have only made a small profit so far, but the developer is actively updating the EA and responding to questions and requests, so I feel this EA has great potential. The recommended AI API is also free or costs very little.

I believe this EA is designed to consistently generate profits through high-frequency trading. Because it often closes lots in just a few seconds, the results may vary depending on the broker and VPS used. I have only made a small profit so far, but the developer is actively updating the EA and responding to questions and requests, so I feel this EA has great potential. The recommended AI API is also free or costs very little.

Thank you for the feedback. OpenRouter’s credit requirements are set by OpenRouter and are outside our control. The EA has now been updated to include ONNX-based local execution of the Deep LSTM model, allowing market sequence analysis directly on-device without a cloud AI connection. Sorry your testing was cut short after 24 hours, and thanks for giving NanoTrend AI a try.
