Rotation Sweep Confluence Strategy - Four Modules, One Position, Defined Risk
Rotation Sweep Confluence Strategy combines four trading modules in one EA. They share one position, so the EA holds one trade at a time. Every trade has a stop loss. It does not use martingale, grid strategies or position scaling.
Core Features
Module A - Sweep and Trend
Looks for a liquidity sweep of a recent pivot, a retest after a break of the EMA 100, an oversold zone with the trend turning up, or a TEMA / LSMA cross in the direction of the trend. Sell setups include a broken-support retest, a lower high in an overbought zone, and a third failed test of the EMA 100. A tick-volume filter and a trend-exhaustion filter are included. ATR stop and target, ATR trailing stop, and a time exit.
Module R - Rotation
A zero-lag EMA (65) crossing the session VWAP, with both pointing the same way, opens a rotation trade. The trade targets the previous-day pivot levels (R2 for longs, S2 for shorts), can flip into a bounce trade there, and is closed when the close crosses the EMA 50. A protective ATR stop is always attached.
Module T - Playbook
Needs a 4-hour and 1-hour bias (EMA 9 versus SMA 20), price on the right side of VWAP, a matching market structure, and room to the next pivot level. Then a pullback to the EMA, SMA or VWAP and a confirmation candle. ATR stop and a reward-to-risk target.
Module D - Double Confluence
Engine 1: VWAP, Ichimoku Span B slope and a vote of RSI, Stochastic, Momentum and DeMarker. Engine 2: EMA 9 versus SMA 20 and close versus VWAP on a 15-minute trend timeframe. A trade opens when both agree.
Each module can be switched off.
Built-In Safety Checks
Lot size is risk-based (1% of equity by default, hard cap 5%) and follows the symbol step, minimum, maximum and volume limit. It is pre-checked with the server and compared with free margin before every order. Stops respect the broker's stops level, freeze level and spread. No orders are sent while the market is closed. On netting accounts the EA does not touch positions it did not open.
Structural Architecture
Signal Layer: four modules sharing one engine.
Filter Layer: volume, trend, structure, VWAP and higher-timeframe bias.
Risk Layer: risk percent, hard 5% cap, margin cap.
Protection Layer: ATR stops, breakeven, trailing stops, broker-safe stop distances.
Operating Parameters
Primary instrument: XAUUSD (Gold). Also works on forex pairs and indices.
Suggested chart timeframe: M15 to H2
Recommended deposit: $300+
Minimum leverage: 1:500
Hedging or netting account both work
ECN / low-spread broker recommended
The system does not use martingale, grid strategies or position scaling
Key Inputs
Module switches, indicator lengths for each module, sweep and retest settings, volume filter, rotation lengths, playbook timeframes and structure settings, confluence oscillator settings, risk percent, margin cap, ATR stop and target multiples, breakeven and trailing settings, spread limit, magic number.
Why Rotation Sweep Confluence Strategy Stands Apart
Four different market behaviours, each with its own rules and an on/off switch
One position at a time, so modules never stack risk
Defined stop on every trade, risk capped at 5% of equity
Positioning
For traders who want a multi-module gold EA with clear rules and built-in risk limits.
Notes
- Volume filters use tick volume.
- The 4-hour, 1-hour and 15-minute data are built from the chart's candles, so use a chart timeframe of M15 to H1. On higher chart timeframes those filters use the chart timeframe instead.
- The playbook's pullback timeframe is the chart timeframe. The news switch is manual: the EA does not read a news feed.
- The EA is selective. On short tests or small accounts it may place few trades.
- Test with real ticks and forward-test on demo before going live.
