Trading Assist — Product Description
What Makes It Special
Trading Assist is an on-chart panel for MetaTrader 5 that brings order placement, position monitoring, and risk control into a single, compact interface.
It is designed for active traders who want structured workflows without switching between multiple windows.
Order Placement
• Market, Limit, and Stop orders are placed directly from the panel with configurable Stop Loss and Take Profit levels.
• Lot sizing supports three modes: fixed lot size, percentage-based risk, or a fixed currency amount. The panel calculates the appropriate lot size based on the Stop Loss distance and your selected risk mode.
• SL and TP values can be entered as a point distance or set visually by dragging lines on the chart.
• Pending order expiry can be set to Good Till Cancelled, End of Day, End of Week, or a custom duration.
Visual Chart Integration
• Draggable SL/TP lines allow you to set and adjust levels directly on the chart.
• Colored zones next to the current candle provide a visual indication of where your Stop Loss and Take Profit are positioned.
• Line positions and price labels update in real time as the market moves.
Position & Order Overview
• All open positions are displayed with direction, volume, and current Profit & Loss — updated tick by tick.
• Pending orders are listed with a breakdown by type and direction, including their margin impact.
Risk Management
• Pre-trade validation checks free margin, lot precision, minimum distances, and spread conditions before any order is sent.
• Risk/Reward ratio is calculated and displayed in real time for both active positions and pending orders.
• Account-wide overview shows total exposure, maximum potential loss, and flags positions that have no Stop Loss or Take Profit set.
• Currency exposure provides a breakdown across the eight major currencies, helping to identify concentration risks.
Break-Even & Trailing Stop
• Break-Even moves the Stop Loss to the entry price once a defined profit threshold is reached.
• Trailing Stop adjusts the Stop Loss in the direction of the trade as the price moves favorably, maintaining a configurable distance.
• Both features are configured separately for each order type (Market, Limit, Stop) and each direction (Buy, Sell).
• Only one mode can be active per order type at a time: None, Break-Even, or Trailing.
Multi-Instance Support
• Each panel instance is identified by an Instance ID, which is embedded into every Magic Number.
• This means each instance only manages positions it has opened — multiple panels can run independently on the same symbol, each with its own configuration.
Interface & Settings
• Four color themes are available: Light, Dark, Dark-Light, and Full-Light.
• The panel width is adjustable and can be freely positioned or docked to either chart edge.
• All sections are collapsible, and the panel can be minimized to a compact header.
• Settings are stored per Symbol and per instance, and persist across sessions automatically.
Technical Design
• Orders are executed asynchronously to avoid blocking the chart during trade operations.
• The panel uses a dual-canvas rendering system with throttled updates to keep resource usage low.
• Caching mechanisms reduce unnecessary redraws, particularly on charts with many active elements.
Important Notes
• Trading Assist is a tool for order management and visualization. It does not generate trading signals or make autonomous trading decisions.
• Risk calculations are based on the information provided by the broker through MetaTrader 5. Actual results may vary depending on execution conditions such as slippage, requotes, or gaps.
• Break-Even and Trailing Stop adjustments require the EA to be running. They are not guaranteed to execute at the exact configured level during fast market conditions or connectivity interruptions.
