Contrarian approach:

  • 74% LONG → majority is "wrong" → SHORT signal

  • 90%+ → strong contrarian signal

  • 50/50 → market balanced

Confirmation:
If your analysis says BUY and Retail Sentiment shows 80% SHORT — confirmation.

Retail Sentiment is NOT a trading system. It's an information tool. It doesn't generate buy/sell signals. All decisions are made by the trader.
