Stop Entering During the Squeeze Before the Real Move
Most retail traders encounter the same persistent execution problem: entering positions during low-volatility compression phases and getting caught in sideways chop, getting stopped out by minor boundary wicks that do not represent structural reversals, hesitating while the market coils prior to expansion, or chasing breakouts late after momentum has already dissipated. InsideBarContinuation addresses this by identifying classic inside bar compression structures directly on the chart and highlighting points where price resolves in the direction of the prevailing trend. Visual BUY Confirmation:
- The market establishes a confirmed upward trend structure.
- An inside bar pattern forms, where the candle range remains completely within the high-low boundaries of the preceding bar.
- Price confirms a breakout above the contraction range in the direction of the dominant trend, confirmed by an arrow signal.
- The signal confirms strictly upon the close of the setup candle, using the open of the subsequent bar as the execution reference.
Visual SELL Confirmation:
- The market establishes a confirmed downward trend structure.
- An inside bar pattern forms, where the candle range remains completely within the high-low boundaries of the preceding bar.
- Price confirms a breakdown below the contraction range in the direction of the dominant trend, confirmed by an arrow signal.
- The signal confirms strictly upon the close of the setup candle, using the open of the subsequent bar as the execution reference.
Structural Stop Loss Placement:
- The indicator automatically projects a protective Stop Loss reference positioned outside the recent structural swing extreme.
- A configurable volatility buffer provides additional distance beyond key pivots to accommodate normal spread variations and short-term market noise.
