AI Fractal Confidence Trader is a fully automated Expert Advisor for MetaTrader 5 that combines classic Fractal breakout structure with Bill Williams Alligator trend filtering, scored through an AI-inspired weighted confidence engine before any trade is executed.
HOW IT WORKS
Step 1: Detect Fractal Breakout. The EA continuously scans confirmed Fractal highs and lows to identify genuine breakout points in market structure.
Step 2: Confirm with Alligator Trend Filter. Every breakout is validated against the Alligator's Jaw, Teeth and Lips lines. A trade is only considered when the Alligator lines are properly aligned with the breakout direction, filtering out breakouts that occur against the dominant trend.
Step 3: Score AI Confidence and Execute. A proprietary confidence formula blends Alligator line spread and fractal breakout distance, both normalized by ATR volatility, into a single 0-100 confidence score. Trades are only opened when the confidence score clears your configured minimum threshold, keeping the system selective and disciplined.
KEY FEATURES
Dual-filter entry logic: Fractal structure plus Alligator trend alignment removes a large share of false breakout signals.
AI confidence scoring: A weighted 0-100 score combining trend strength and breakout quality, fully adjustable via the InpMinConfidenceScore input.
ATR-based adaptive risk management: Stop Loss and Take Profit are calculated dynamically from current market volatility, not fixed pips.
Smart trailing stop: Automatically locks in profit as price moves in your favor, with built-in protection so the trailing logic never places a stop too close to an active Take Profit.
Spread and margin protection: Trades are skipped automatically when spread is excessive or free margin is insufficient, protecting your account during volatile news events.
Session time filter: Optional trading window control with an edge buffer to avoid opening trades right at session open or close.
One trade at a time by default: Configurable maximum open positions to match your risk appetite.
Works on any symbol and any timeframe, though H1 is the recommended default.

General Settings: Magic Number, Working Timeframe, Maximum Spread, Session Edge Buffer.
Alligator Filter: Jaw Period and Shift, Teeth Period and Shift, Lips Period and Shift.
Fractal Breakout Settings: Fractal Lookback depth.
AI Confidence Scoring: Minimum Confidence Score required to trade, ATR Period used for scoring.
Risk Management: Stop Loss ATR Multiplier, Take Profit ATR Multiplier.
Trade Settings: Lot Size, Maximum Open Positions.
Trailing Stop: Enable or disable, Trail Start ATR Multiplier, Trail Step ATR Multiplier.
RECOMMENDATIONS
Use on a VPS for uninterrupted 24/5 operation. Test on a demo account first to find the confidence threshold and risk settings that best suit your trading style and the symbol you intend to trade. Always use proper risk management and never risk more than you can afford to lose.
This EA does not use martingale, grid, or any dangerous money-management techniques. Every position is opened with a defined Stop Loss and Take Profit from the moment it is placed.
