Momentum Pulse Trader - Awesome Oscillator Zero-Cross + EMA200 Trend Filter
Momentum Pulse Trader is a fully automated Expert Advisor built around a trend-following momentum strategy: it waits for the Awesome Oscillator to cross the zero line - a shift in short-term momentum - and only takes that signal when price is trading on the correct side of a 200-period EMA trend filter. This keeps the EA from fighting the prevailing trend on a single oscillator flip.
The EA does not use grid, martingale, or any form of position averaging. It manages one trade at a time with a fixed lot size, ATR-based Stop Loss and Take Profit, and an optional ATR-based trailing stop with built-in safety checks.

Input Parameters
- Magic Number - unique identifier for trades opened by this EA
- Time Frame - timeframe used to evaluate signals (default H1)
- Max Spread (points) - maximum allowed spread for new trades
- Trend EMA Period - period of the EMA used as the long-term trend filter (default 200)
- AO Confirm Bars - consecutive bars required beyond zero to confirm the cross (default 1)
- ATR Period - period used to calculate the ATR for Stop Loss / Take Profit / trailing
- Stop Loss (ATR multiplier) - Stop Loss distance as a multiple of ATR (default 1.5)
- Take Profit (ATR multiplier) - Take Profit distance as a multiple of ATR (default 2.5)
- Lot Size - fixed trade volume
- Use Trailing Stop - enable or disable the ATR-based trailing stop
- Trailing Start (ATR multiplier) - profit distance (in ATR) before trailing begins
- Trailing Step (ATR multiplier) - step size (in ATR) for trailing stop updates
Recommendations
Momentum Pulse Trader works on any symbol and timeframe, but is best suited to trending markets where price sustains directional moves after a momentum shift (Forex majors, Gold, and major indices are good starting points).
